This Week: Jack & Daniel
Since their first adventure rescuing Abydos from Ra, Jack O’Neill and Daniel Jackson have been — how do the kids say it these days? — BFFs. They haven’t always seen eye-to-eye (something we love about their relationship), but they do have a great deal of respect for one another. Here are our five favorite moments between these two comrades:
Always have to steal my kisses from you
Jan. 13th, 2009 03:07 pmI got a text message the other day from a number I didn't recognize. Then I remembered that I had given my number to my 16 year old cousin who it turns out likes The Boosh. Anyway, our conversation:
In other news, I'm attempting to learn Japanese. Right now I'm just using My Japanese Coach for the Nintendo DS. My current level? Toddler. But hey, I was just at Baby last night ;)
I'm almost done rewatching all of Hana Kimi and then I want to start on Honey & Clover and Voice, although I'm going to wait for subs on that last one. Not that I need more shows to fangirl.
I just read some Jack/Daniel fic while listening to 'Big Yellow Taxi' by Counting Crows. It was just like being in high school again ^_^
So, in conclusion, Fuck yeah! Ryan Gosling
PS My icon has nothing to do with anything except the fact that I love it and them (Nowaki/Hiroki from Junjou Romantica) and the other day while on my lunch break at work, I was just sitting outside Quiznos listening to music and smiling to myself thinking about them *g*
Her: Calm a llama down!!
Me: Vince? ;)
Her: Yep!
Me: U snapped me out of my jazz trance!
Her: lmao but im old greg!!
Me: Don't kill me. I've got so much to give!
Her: You seen me!! Im a scaly man fish!! Im old greeeeg!!

Jun. 28th, 2008 06:02 pmBut each time I hear/read something else about Stargate: Continuum, I get more and more excited. Next month!!
I got the new Stargate magazine mostly for the 'Continuum' poster in the middle, but there were a few things in there that made me happy. ( Spoilers )

PPS Why aren't there English subtitles for L: Change the WorLd yet :( There are :)
PPPS Yep, Jack/Daniel is still my OTP of OTPs. You have no idea how happy something like this and this makes me XD

Apr. 25th, 2008 09:44 pm* I don't know if it was seeing Siler in Smallville or the SG-1 marathon that was on Sci-Fi today or what, but I'm in a Jack/Daniel mood again. I'm also reading The Dresden Files again and I'm craving some Harry/Bob ^_^
* I'm feeling the urge to make some icons. We'll see if anything comes from it though. I'm still working on my Jack/Daniel love bar. And I need to make another Ianto, Jack/Ianto moodtheme for series 2.
* This
kind of reminds me of

Click for BIGNESS
* Some lady who smelled like alcohol and had about a million lottery tickets sat next to me on the bus from Santa Cruz to San Jose. She then decided to talk to me (even though I had headphones on and was reading a book) and then offer me $5 to use my phone. I'm really bad at lying so I caved and let her use it. I cleaned it when I got home though.
* This spoilery picture of Mulder and Scully from the new movie makes me happy <3

this icon still cracks me up
Mar. 29th, 2008 02:15 pmI'm too lazy to write about the two most recent eps of Torchwood but I'll just say ( this: )
Yesterday, I went to the mall where I bought myself some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle thingies at Hot Topic, some Skullcandy headphones, a ( pair of shoes ) with bright yellow, blue, and pink dinosaurs (50% off sale price - $17 to about $4), and I used an Old Navy gift card I have had for years and because they were having a Spring cleaning sale, got a sweatshirt (half off) and like 5 shirts that used to be $15 but were now $2.99. I also got my friend a birthday present since that's coming up in April. Oh yeah, and I bought the Stargate magazine mainly for one line in an interview with Michael Shanks - "I'll never truly say goodbye to Daniel - I'll end up in an asylum, just rocking back and forth going, 'But Jack, this is the way I feel about it - what do you think?!'"
Today, I had lunch with my dad and sister at McDonald's. My sister and I both got Happy Meals (my dad must be so proud - she's 12 and I'm 22). She got Belle's necklace as the toy and I got Jasmine's crown thing. I'm still wearing it actually. I was going to get chicken nuggets, but then I thought they might hurt my gums, so I got a cheeseburger instead.
Tonight, my dad, stepmom and sister are going to a play and I'm gonna order pizza and watch TMNT for about the 6th time this week. Okay, more like the 4th time, but still.
PS I just found out that the TW books take 3-5 weeks to ship and I'm not expected to get them until the end of April. Grrrr! Oh well, at least my dad is paying for them. Although I'm tempted to tell them to cancel their order and just give me the money so I can buy them at Borders.

Sep. 20th, 2007 02:33 pmI'm finally moved into my apartment. I still need a few things (like a desk and a chair) but I'm here until school starts. And then three days later, I'm 22. I have no idea what I want to do or even if I'll be able to see my friends. But the apartment is starting to feel more like a home. We have a ton of food and we're actually cooking recipes for dinner. We still don't have internet unless we go to a cafe, but we have cable now.
In fact, the cable guy came this morning. He was in my room checking to make sure I got all the channels when he saw all my DVDs and posters and stuff. He asked me if I was a Stargate fan. I, of course, said yes. Then he noticed that my Jack and Daniel action figures were in something of a compromising position. He pointed to them and just said "Yeah, they like to do their own thing." He just laughed, finished, and left. He was nice enough, but I think I might have scarred him for life. Whoops ^_^
But it's nice here. My friends are starting to move back to Santa Cruz so I get to see them again. I'm also actually trying out restaurants here. I've been for three years and I've been to Quiznos and Jamba Juice. Today I had really good Indian food though.
And that's all for now. I haven't checked my flist in ages (about 2 weeks). Hopefully I'll be able to check it soon, but I don't know. In the mean time, I hope everyone is doing well <3
PS While at my dad's last week, I got to watch the first 3 episodes of Dexter and I like it. It's weird and dark, but I want to watch more.

OMG! i can't stop listening to Drake Bell's 'Up Periscope'. damn, that's a catchy tune.
i skipped my Earth Sciences & Cinema class so i can work on my Stat data. i have to see the teacher later (around 1:30 or so). so what am i doing? actually working. on and off. i also made some icons, like the one i'm using. i still don't have a Daniel/archaeology icon, but at least it's a start. the picture is actually from my school's cafepress site ^_^
Here's how it works:
1. If you want to be interviewed, leave a comment here.
2. I'll ask you five questions.
3. You'll post the answers on your own blog or lj, along with these rules.
4. If anyone replies, asking you for five questions, you'll ask them.

( i'm going to see 300 tonight! )
EDIT: it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad... actually, it's still kind of funny.

Nov. 29th, 2006 06:23 pmi really need a good McShep icon. maybe over break, i'll give it a try. i don't know if i've made any SGA icons... this is not acceptable.
( SGA 3x12- Echos )
also, i went downtown today to get cookies, coffee, and feminie products. but while downtown, i decided to go into Borders. first of all, why didn't anyone tell me that Robin Hood: Men in Tights is now on DVD? i would have bought it today but i don't have much money and everything is more expensive at Borders. second, i was looking through the Stargate magazine- they had a Teal'c tattoo and a short story in it about Jack dealing with Daniel's ascension. it broke my heart just a little bit. he was going into Daniel's office to drink whiskey alone. and there was this line "If Colonel O'Neill couldn't have Dr. Daniel Jackson, Colonel O'Neill wasn't going to have anybody." of course they were talking about nobody being able to replace him on the team, but still. we all know it's more than that. and in the Sci-Fi channel magazine, they mentioned the site with the Star Trek Inspirational Posters ^_^
it's almost 6 pm now, so i better get working on my reading comments. they're due tomorrow. at least i'm almost done with them. tomorrow i'll study with Casey for our Catastrophe final on Friday. after our final, we're gonna do the Mentos/Diet Coke thing again, only bigger. and then all this weekend i'll be reading and writing papers. wish me luck!
