June 27 through September 30, 2009 and Oct 1, 2009 through March 28, 2010. It's open on my birthday!!! How sweet would that be? Short of actually going to Egypt (or Japan), that would be definitely be a top thing to do. I'm a geek like that.

Also in happier news, I've changed my header again. I loved Toma's photoshoot so much (see below), and it was so colorful, that I just had to do something with it. Nothing special (really), but it makes me smile - spacemonkeyluvn

and one non-Heroes thing about today. the guest speaker for my Arch Res Design class came with samples of chert tools that he had ground up in order to be analyzed. my teacher holds up the little baggie of white-ish dust and tells the guest speaker that he better be careful carrying that stuff around on campus. the guest speaker then says "You'd have to be a hard core archaeologist to sniff chert. This stuff is good. Archaeology is one with me." XD

how did this happen? i tried watching Heroes when it first came out but i found it mostly boring. i kept up with what was going on because my friend loves it and i read about it on LJ. but i've watched the last 4 episodes or so and i find myself getting slightly hooked. and The Black Donnellys is only 2 episodes in and i'm kind of hooked on that too. and while i'm mostly 'meh' about Supernatural, i will watch it occasionally when i remember. i find it interesting that all three of these shows have brothers that are close. real close ^_^ speaking of brotherly love, Drake & Josh was funny. i'm going to really miss that show when it's done. drama's all well and good, but you need goofy and silly every now and then.

speaking of drama, House was ... interesting. Cameron will pretty much always bug me, Cuddy was funny, Chase was a kicked puppy, and Wilson was used to/tired of House's shit. yay! for piano.

my LJ is now San Francisco themed <3 and i've been working on my info page. added some pretty Jack/Daniel <3

i watched "An Inconvient Truth" today in my Earth Science & Cinema class. i pretty much knew all that, but it's still scary to see. i did love the clip from Futurama though. that was a nice touch =D

and because i have two papers and a final next week, and the water has been turned off in my building (?!), i think it's time for another -

~ i'm going out on Friday with friends. we're going to get dinner and then probably go watch "300" which my brother absolutely LOVED. of course, he's 17.

~ when i told my dad that i don't really go out, he gave me money. i'm going to use it to buy SG1 season 5. or maybe SGA season 2... that won't help me go out of course, but outside is overrated.

~ i have SG1 10x19 'Dominion' to watch (but then ONLY ONE EP LEFT! OMFG!!)

~ i took a shower and washed my clothes last night (at 'bout 2 am) so i smell really good right now ;)
