I edited my first comment today. Nothing important - just wanted to change the icon I had used.

Today was fun. The family went to San Francisco, ate Dim Sum for brunch, and then took a tour of the city in an old fire truck. We went over the Golden Gate Bridge. Good God, was that cold! Fun though. Went back to San Jose and had tamales for dinner.

Now, I'm going to try to start my homework, because it's Saturday and I haven't done shite.

i didn't actually 'watch' Psych on Friday- i was talking to my friend during the first run and then i fell asleep about 10 minutes into the second airing- but i did pay enough attention to notice that it guest starred both Colin Cunningham (Major Paul Davis) and Teryl Rothery (Dr. Janet Fraiser) =D

today i left my dorm early (well, early for a Saturday) and i waited for a classmate so we could eat and then work on our Stat homework. while eating, Casey calls and asks if i want to get coffee with her. i ask if Cindy (my classmate) wants to go with us. she says sure and Casey picks us up and we go downtown. i get coffee (mmm...coffee. haven't had that in a while) and then i ask if we can go to Cosco so Cindy can get a flash drive. none of us are very eager to start our homework, so she agrees. we get there, sit on the comfy couch for a while drinking our coffee, until finally we get up. Cindy gets her flash drive, i resist the urge to buy SG1 season 5, and Casey walks around looking for samples to eat (Cosco samples aren't very vegetarian-friendly so i ended up buying her pizza). after that, Casey drops us back off at the computer lab where we waste a couple hours on the computer (i'm on LJ of course). we finally start our homework and actually start to do problems and maybe even understand what we're doing. of course the computer lab closes not long after that. we eat dinner and i've been in this computer lab for about 4 hours now playing with Photoshop (just made the icon i'm using). we're meeting again tomorrow, but this time, NO GOING OUT FOR COFFEE. we WILL get work done. we must. we have midterms next week to study for and no time to do this homework later.

so, this year is not ending on a very good note, nor will it be starting on one. first my Paint Shop Pro stopped working and that made me depressed. i finally get a paid account with 105 icons and i can't make any more icons. universe? you're a bitch. but then i find out my brother had the disk so i thought, fine, i'll lose everything but i'll reinstall it. but before i even get to that, my internet stops working and now i'm scared to turn my computer back on. i'm going back to school next wednesday and hopefully i can get it looked at soon by the computer people, but i don't know what i'll do if i lose everything. it's kind of sad how much of my life i have inside that computer. i've been in bed all day, not even wanting to speak to anybody. i can't even watch Torchwood 'cause it's on my computer! and now i can't finish/work on my moodtheme or my fanmix. the moodtheme, btw is Ianto Jones (with some Jack/Ianto) because he just might be one of my favorite characters ever. *sigh* 'Dorky,' 'Loved,' and 'Naughty' were my favorites.

so i've been trying to think of happy things. this is what i've got so far:

* i had a dream about Ianto the other night. he was sitting with my family and i got to sit next to him. in my dream i had a crush on him so i was acting nervous, but it turned out that he liked me too. however i only got as far as us smiling at each other before i woke up. still- it was a good dream.

* right now i'm printing out Jack/Ianto stories to read while i try to NOT think about my computer.

* Torchwood tomorrow! i hope i get to see it before i go back to school though.

* i've changed the second title of my journal. used to be "my happy place" and now it says "King Ianto's Coffee Club. Join it for everlasting peace and damn fine coffee."

*GIP i'm not sure how much i like it. i had to make it on my brother's PSP and he doesn't have my stuff :( still, it amuses me to see Ianto reading jackxianto

i seem to be in a Stargate Atlantis (McShep) mood lately... just look at my ( desktop )

i think it's because most (if not all) of my other fandoms/OTPs are making me kinda depressed right now. boo. but yay for SGA!crack. and there's a lot of it <3

now i must go because i have a headache and a buttload of reading to... read.

....while i'm here, might as well have a quick update.

- the Ghost Train was pretty cool. "RUN, ICHABOD, RUN!!!" (my sister kept calling him Ichabob.) although when we got out of the woods, it was freezing! i didn't take any pictures because it was so dark. afterwards, got candy and worked on some homework.

- my iTunes is working again, so that's a relief. i just needed to restart my computer.

- no new D&J this week and i can't download it from iTunes yet, because at school i get logged off every 10 minutes :(

- i still have an essay and comments for readings to write by Tuesday. could be worse. could be by Monday.

- i have cramps- i started and am ending October with cramps :/

- i won't be doing anything on Halloween. well, i'll be watching House, old movies, and eating candy, but i won't be going out. all my friends are either not in Santa Cruz or they just want to go get drunk.

well, at least my icon makes me feel better XD
