TeeVee... and cake

I don't know about everyone else, but for the most part, I felt kind of disappointed by this episode. The only part I really liked was when it was revealed that the ones inside the suits were Asgards. That was pretty cool. Other than that, I was pretty bored. The bickering between Daniel and McKay felt a little superficial to me. I don't know. There was just something missing. Maybe it's just me. I'm still not really feeling this season. Too bad it's the last one too :(

Merlin on the other hand, did not disappoint! Except for that bit when Gwen kissed Merlin. But other than that, the whole ep was slashy goodness. Arthur fighting so hard and risking so much to save Merlin. Merlin calling out Arthur's name during his fever. Merlin 'seeing' what danger Arthur was in and casting a spell to help him from so far away (and his death bed) <3
Oh! And I can't forget to add that when Uther crushed the flower in his fist, Arthur seriously looked like he was going to start crying. Man, I'm loving this show *hugs it*

In other news, I celebrated my bday at my dad's today. A little after the fact, but I haven't been back here since then so this is the first opportunity. They got me a mocha cake decorated like a graveyard - cookie crumbs for grave dirt and little plastic toys on top (like a fake iron gate and tombstone rings). So much cake. So full. They also gave me a Visa gift card so Amazon.com, here I come!
We're going to Santa Cruz tomorrow so they can check on the cabin. I'm just going because I haven't been back since I moved out of my apartment. But also because I want to check the Borders there for something. They have a better selection of stuff there than they do in most bookstores in San Francisco. That ain't right. We're also going into town for lunch and I want to get a bubble tea. Mmmm... so good.
