So, I have the series finale of Torchwood on my hard drive. I'm just waiting for my sister to go into another room so I can watch alone. I can't have any distractions.

In the mean time, I just want to say that so far, I'm loving this quarter. My 'Stars' class is going to be pretty easy, just some basic math. If I do well enough on the quizzes, I won't even have to take the final. My 'Dinosaurs' class is actually going to be the hardest/most serious of my three classes. But still - it's dinosaurs, so it can't be that bad. And finally, I'm really looking forward to my 'Cult TV' class. So far we've watched 3 episodes of Arrested Development and one of Freaks & Geeks. I'm going to have two short papers (2-3 pages each, which is nothing) to write about a cult show and its fandom and the final project will be coming up with an idea for a show that is even more cultish/groundbreaking than what is currently being shown. I already have an idea about what show I want to talk about for my two short papers, but I thought I'd try a poll anyway. I've never done one before. The first two I came up with and those are the ones I'm leaning towards. The rest were on a list of possible options provided by the teacher. I was pleasantly surprised that Spaced and Life on Mars were on there ^_^ Some other shows he mentioned were The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, LOST, Veronica Mars, etc.

In the most recent Cult TV class, we were talking about something and I was laughing to myself, but enough that the teacher noticed and I basically had to 'share with the class.' It's hard, being in a class about Cult TV and fandom. This stuff is a big part of my life. I recognize myself in almost everything we're talking about. And I laugh because I wonder what everyone else is thinking. I love it <3
