a bit of my chat with "God"

i need to catch up on Torchwood and now SGA, but i can't do that for the next two weeks or so- until Christmas break. at least i'm being rather productive. i'm actually getting stuff done and i feel all proud of myself =D although, writing this entry is setting me back a bit ;)

yesterday i went to my Earth Catastrophe class and then after, Casey persuaded me not to go to section with the offer of her buying me coffee. granted, i didn't put up much of a fight... we went back to her place, watched QAF for a couple hours, then she went to the gym and i went to the library. that night i slept over at Casey's where we watched more QAF with her boyfriend. despite his best attempts, even he's getting into it. the story. not so much the sex.

oh yeah, and we also tried our hand at the Mentos + Diet Coke = fun! Chris filmed it, but we're going to do it again on Wednesday (this time with more Mentos and warm Coke) and i'll film it that time. and in the off chance that someone actually wants to watch it, i'll try to put it up on YouTube. i'll only be the 1 millionth person right? Casey and i have wanted to try it for some time, but Chris can't help but be really interested in it because he's a physicist ;) in fact, we did small scale tests first. his camera is high speed so we watched me drop a Mentos into a shot glass of Diet Coke in slow motion and he counted how long until bubbles hit the surface. about half a second and then about a whole second for it to spill over the rim. i felt like a true Mythbuster XD

tonight i'm going back over to work on homework and finish up the QAF dvds we have so we can return them on time. and HOUSE of course- angry!Wilson tonight. Wednesday we shall go to class, return the dvds, buy more Diet Coke and Mentos, do the experiment, and then drive back to San Francisco for Thanksgiving. and Thanksgiving for me means ravioli (we go to eat at Caesar's- http://www.themenupage.com/caesars.html) and movies (we always go to a movie- this time it'll be Happy Feet). only this year, i'll also be writing two papers that weekend.
