i really hate this. i'd actually rather be at work.
so i got up today at 5 am, as always when i'm working, but i was feeling a little dizzy. i stumbled a bit to the bathroom. if i looked down, moved my head to the left, or got up quickly i had to close my eyes (which actually made things worse) and i was overcome with a feeling of vertigo. it's almost 4 pm and i'm still feeling dizzy. if i don't move around too much it's okay, but still. it's annoying and, well, i'm something of a hypochondriac. i actually felt so bad i couldn't go into work today. and i feel bad about that because they need the help and tomorrow is my last day. and i could use the money. i just hope i feel well enough to work tomorrow.
sounds like it's time for another List O'Happiness! but first-
so this weekend (Friday it was), my step-mom, dad, sister and i went into downtown San Jose to check out the ZeroOne festival- where we saw http://01sj.org/content/view/642/49/ and http://01sj.org/content/blogcategory/84/101/ and http://01sj.org/content/view/51/49/ "Mission Eternity." that one was weird: MISSION ETERNITY is an information technology driven cult of the dead.
a while ago, i decided not to buy Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Barnes and Noble because it was $30. a wise choice. i found it on sale at Fry's for $8.99.
i went shopping with my dad, brother, and sister for school clothes. i bought jeans and a shirt and two new pairs of shoes because i've had the same pair of sneakers for about 2 or 3 years. being poor is not good for the feet.
my hair smelled like Tootsie Rolls yesterday because i used my sister's chocolate scented shampoo.
the other day i had a dream where The Mighty Boosh came to America and i finally got to see a live performance. it was a very odd show. at the end, they showed Disney's The Little Mermaid. even in my dream, i was like o_0 WTF?! (not that i don't love The Little Mermaid- it's my favorite Disney movie). after the show, somehow, i got to meet them. although they were doing another show right after, so i met them quickly and then got to stay behind-the-scenes while they went back on stage. during the performance, i got to see them run back stage to change. i also learned that Noel doesn't sing. it's all done by Julian. and that made me really sad for some reason. at some point in the show, Julian stopped what he was doing, walked up to Noel, and (since the mics were still on we could hear everything) said "It really hurts me when you said that I'm like that. That if something's not right, I freak out or I'll actually stop the show to fix something." and Noel just looked at him and said, "OK but you're stopping the show right now." and that was about it. i'm not sure where it came from, but there you have it. and no slash that time, i'm afraid :(

luckily i'm feeling better today. no dizziness and i went to work and everything. i'm still not sure what that was, but rest helped and time. i wonder if it has anything to do with not sleeping for more than 4 or 5 hours a night, working 10 hour days, and watching TV/being on the computer for hours at a time ;)
