i feel okay

where to start... well, i was working the other day when i got a sharp, shooting pain in my left hand where my thumb met my wrist on the side. it's happened before. it hurts like hell for a second and then stops. but this time my boss was there, saw it, and decided to take me to the clinic. so i go there and the doctor tells me i have- let me get the paper for this- de Quervain's Tenosynovitis. meh. i'm always having problems with my hands, knees, back, what have you. so i got a brace to wear which keeps my thumb up and makes me look like a hitchhiker. and i have cramps.

but enough about that! let's make of list of things that are making me happy right now:

*the 4th season of Starsky & Hutch is finally coming out on DVD on October 17th
*i just got the first season of The Sentinel on DVD
*Doctor Who is coming back to Sci-Fi
*although i won't be able to go, there is a Bay Area UFO Expo and guess who will be there... Dean Haglund and Gary Jones <3 (that just makes me happy)
*these shirts- Khaaaaaaaaaannnnnn!!, that would be me, and mmmmmmmm
*Star Trek inspirational posters- where my subject line comes from
*i get out of work at around 11 am tomorrow!
*Drake & Josh
*the Stargates
*Psych
*The Mighty Boosh specifically Noel
*Stargate SG-1 Metaphysical Meta II or Why Jack and Daniel are Written-in-the-Stars
*Leonid the Magnificent is definitely a wild-card XD aka Can You Hula-Hoop with YOUR Ass?!
*i watched this in my TV class last year- the French and Saunders parody of LOTR XD
*Posh Nosh- this one has David Tennant, and so does this one (although only for a second. the first one is best)
*these lovely and spoilery pictures of McKay

that is a fantastic, happyfying list of things! but poor cramp-ridden thumb-sticking-up you, cursed to be forever happy in hand signals. :P

i fully intend to watch the pilot of Psych once i get it downloaded on torrent, it looks interesting. I seriously need to find some way of watching Atlantis again because LEATHER! ::faints:: i'll watch the Boosh vids once i'm home and have speakers (none at work) and man, i'm with you, i've been staring at that Khan shirt every time i go into glarkware. Still not bought it yet. Some day i'm going to set aside 100quid and just go crazy on shirts. Itrequires research though, you know? Ya. The only one i have so far is my white 'The geek shall inherit the earth' shirt, and i loves it.

i really like Psych. it's a fun show where i can watch it and enjoy it, but i don't have to go all fandom on it. i have enough of those as it is! and yes. Atlantis is all about the leather this season. first John, now Rodney. there is only so much a girl can take ;) i'd wait until you got home to watch "Sweet" anyway because... well you'll see. there might be some sounds you don't want others to hear. and as for shirt shopping, it most definitely requires research. i have a whole list of them i want including 'Spock is my homeboy'. the only one i have is a white shirt with the silhouette of the original Enterprise and under it the word 'GEEK' ^_^ well, i also have a shirt with Data on it and a shirt with SG-1 on it. but i still need more =P

OMG, Posh Nosh. ♥ They run that at complete random late-night one one of the erratic-as-hell PBS feeds here. With David Tennant, it's twice the awesome. (Moreso if they end up rnning it after his Great Performances stint in Casanova. Eeee.)

i love Posh Nosh. when i first saw it i was like "this can't be a real cooking show, can it?" ;) too bad there are only... 6 episodes i think. they show them right after Jeeves & Wooster, Tuesdays on my PBS station. that's actually how i first saw it- all thanks to J&W :D and i didn't even realize it was David Tennant at first. i'm glad Sci-Fi picked up the second season of Doctor Who.
