still quite HOT

good god! it's not even that bad outside, but in the computer lab it's like a greenhouse. ugh.

this weekend was good. my dad picked me up on Friday where we met up with my stepmom, my sister and one of her friends to go eat at the Spaghetti Factory for my sister's b-day. then we went to The Melting Pot for a dessert of chocolate fondue *drools* oh man that was good. i asked my sister to tape Doctor Who for me but she forgot. luckily i figured she would and i called my brother and had him tape it for me. i'll watch it tonight. although i'm not looking forward to next week :(

Saturday we went to Petroglyph and i painted a square bowl. i couldn't decide on a pattern, so i painted it white with two stripes going diagonally across the inside and outside- one green and one blue. sort of like the green and blue arrows from Drake & Josh because i'm a loser ^_^ but it's okay. i've come to terms with that fact and i've embraced my loser-ishness. it was so warm out, i wore a skirt. i NEVER wear skirts, shorts, or anything else that would show my legs. i even sent texts to my friends and i got an "OMG!" and "What's the occasion?" after that, we went swimming and had a BBQ. while going after my brother in the pool, he tried to stop me with his knee and he hit my chest. there's no bruise, but i still feel tender. bastard ;) but there was lots of good food and cake so it wasn't too bad. one of Bridge's friends slept over and we watched my copy of Drake & Josh Go Hollywood ^_^ then, since everyone fell asleep (it was only midnight) i watched The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and did my Universe homework.

today, i went looking for a job at my dad's- although i would much rather work back at home (San Francisco or Daly City). oh well. i just hope i get a job. i need money and experience. i'm going to be 21 and i've never had a job. about 2 hours ago, my dad dropped me off after getting a sandwhich from Safeway along with a gallon of water. i drank another liter today. for the past couple of days, i've had 2 coffee drinks and hardly any water and right now i have a bad headache. it might be from the heat, but i also think i'm not really used to coffee now and i NEED to drink more water.

right now i'm half trying to work on a research paper due Wednesday while also checking my flist. i have a paper due Wed., a homework due Thursday (which i've done most of), and then 2 finals and a paper due next week. and then SUMMER!!!! and maybe a job (and i really need to learn how to drive). but SUMMER!!! tomorrow i think i'll go to the bookstore and get a postcard to send to David Hewlett :D

wow jess, sounds like you had lots of fun @ ur dads, which NEVER happens!! lol jk. I cant believe ur sister is 11!! gross.....lol. She's still 5 to me. Anyways let me tell you about my day soooo far.....i went out with my mom at nine in da morning to go exchange something at bed bath and beyond (cool ass store by da way). then we came home and i was being lazy for like 7 hours.....i had the worst cramps of life, i will tell u the gorey details on da fone. Right now i'm packin my things cuz i was supposed to do that yesterday but i had company and he left like at 1 in da morning so i didnt have time. I'm excited, nervous, sad, anxious, all these different things. I know im going to cry like hell......but i'm going to try to keep myself occupied when i come back, im going to get a job and work out everyday so i wont have to be home alone. And hopefully we'll get to see more of each other this summer, go swimming and things like that. By da way I saw xmen on thursday with justo and pri......justo cried....lol. when professor x died! i hated dat part. da beast was awesome of course!! it was good. You think they're gonna make another one? i told justo no but he says they are so we got a little bet going on....i hope i win :). Well jessica no words can describe wat im feeling right about now. I will call u later on tonite, our usual time, because im sure i wont be able to sleep tonite....and i'll see you in a month!! luv u

yes, i want to hear EVERYTHING. the computer lab closes at midnight, and at the rate i'm going, i'll be here till then. but at around 12:30 or so, call me. don't fall asleep this time! :P

as for X-Men, i almost cried when Professor X died too :( did you guys stay till the end of the credits for the 'secret scene'? the Beast pwns everything XD and i hear there may be another movie. or at least a spin-off or something. they can make too much money to just let it go.
