no real reason for my subject line other than i love that little face :) so, today i woke up at the ungodly hour of 6:30. now i know some people get up earlier than that- every day in high school i woke up at 5:30- but i never was and never shall be a morning person. i can stay awake until the wee hours of the morning just fine, but tear me away from my snug little cocoon of a bed and i will bite your head off. or just walk around like a zombie. either way. coffee can't even wake me up. oh sure, i'll be jittery and nervous, but i'll still be yawning and half-dead. where was i going with this? oh yeah. so i was in the dining hall eating my eggs and hashbrowns (without ketchup- this made me sad) at a table against the wall of windows when i hear a *thunk* now my first reaction is to laugh because it's a very cartoon-sounding *thunk* but unfortunately i knew that sound. a bird had flown into the window and broke its neck. and as the wall was made of windows, i could see it all too well. it twitched for about a minute and then stilled. i couldn't eat any more eggs. this happened to me at home too. a bird flew into my bedroom window and broke its neck. after that lovely incident, i went to my first final of the day. we had 3 hours to do it but it was only 30 questions and i finished in less than 20 minutes. and i think i did well too. so i used that extra time to study for my next final. that one took me about 2 hours, but i think i did better than my midterm for that class. i actually studied this time. didn't go to sleep until around 3 am this morning (another reason why 6 was so bad- i can't fall alseep right away, so i got less than 3 hours sleep last night). so now i'm studying for my Latin final tomorrow. i'm glad i did so well on my homework and quizzes because i don't predict great things in my future. meh :/ i need to take a shower and watch Mythbusters tonight. i can't wait until tomorrow though because after my final (8-11) my mom is picking me up for Christmas break =) i'm going to sleep for about 3 weeks. because i'm lazy. i'm also going to my dad's, watching my Jeeves & Wooster DVDs (they better get there soon), and chillin' with my friends. or more accurately, bugging them at their place of work. this means i must bring my TV and VCR home with me. crap. that's a heavy TV. but it's worth it *hugs TV* i've pretty much written my x-mas cards and i shall send them hopefully by Friday.
also, i find these way too amusing :D probably due to my sleep deprivation though.....
