I did end up watching about half an hour of the US Life on Mars until I realized that 3rd Rock from the Sun was on TV Land. A much better way to spend my time.

Yeah, it's on at like 10pm. There's supposed to be a marathon this Sunday, I think.

I used to love that show. It's been forever since I've seen it though, so I'm glad it's being rerun somewhere.

I recorded it but I put off watching it so far. I take it that it wasn't exactly worth watching? I probably too would switch over to 3rd Rock instead.

If you've seen the original, it's basically the exact same thing. The parts that were different, just felt off. But then again, I know what it's supposed to be like. It might be different for new viewers. The only thing I can say is that if you've seen the original, and if it lasts long enough, to wait until they have a different story. I mean, American shows have more episodes in one season than both series of Life on Mars. So at some point they'd have to stretch it out more, right? I don't know.

If you have nothing better to do for an hour, give it a shot. Then you can decide whether you want to bother with any subsequent episodes.
