i had another weird dream last night (that i actually remember). in my dream i was flipping through a magazine when i saw a picture of Drake and Josh on a tennis court or something. Josh threw a football and it hit Drake by accident. then he asked if they could practice their dancing. all of a sudden they are performing some kind of tribal skit where Drake 'kills' Josh with a spear and then it cuts to them salsa dancing. i'd wonder what it all means, but i'm not sure i want to know- it was entertaining if nothing else :D

so yesterday i finally got to see Superman Returns with my brother. my sister saw Click (first movie she's seen by herself). i have to say that i enjoyed it. i've heard a few people saying that they didn't really care for it but i had fun. i wasn't really expecting anything other than to be entertained and i was. it was also a very pretty movie. and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor made me very happy XD

after the movies, we went into the mall where i bought a Ghostbusters sweatshirt at Hot Topic for less than $10. it was originally about $40, but it was half-off and then everything was on clearance so it was half-off again. i couldn't resist. however i didn't get the V for Vendetta shirt i wanted because it was $20- for one shirt. i couldn't do it. (the movie comes out August 1st!) my sister bought 4th of July earrings at Claire's and ice cream- cake batter ice cream with chocolate cookie dough mixed in. i had one bite and that was all i could eat.

last night i finally got to see The Producers. i loved it- so funny! i <3 mel brooks. it was weird seeing Captain Jack Harkness with bleached blonde hair though o_0 but Jai from Queer Eye looked pretty :D

later today i'll be going over to the neighbors' house but hopefully not for too long. i'm not a very social person and i only really have bad memories of the 4th of July. however, seeing evil!Spock with a goatee did make me feel a little better ;) especially since my right hand hurts (in between the ring finger and little finger) from when i fell on my ass the other day with my finger in the fridge door.

tomorrow i should be heading home so yay! for my bed, but nay! for slow internet connection.

EDIT: i forgot to mention that the Space Shuttle Discovery had a successful launch from the Kennedy Space Center this morning =D

Drake is Ernie and Josh is Bert

slightly creative at the moment

so my sister's dog, Willy, is a cute little dog but he gets so scared sometimes. and tonight, what with all the fireworks and everything, was not a good night for him. i tried holding and petting him but he kept whining and shaking like crazy. poor little thing. and my sister, the one he really loves, was out looking at them so she couldn't calm him down. he kept getting up and walking in circles, go halfway out the door and then would run back into her room where i was using the computer. and he doesn't even have a toy or anything that he loves and i could distract him with.

so i went over to the neighbors' for like 20 minutes and then my brother and i left because we weren't doing anything. we didn't really know anybody and we weren't talking or swimming so we just came back to the house. and i did something i haven't really done in a while- i made icons. all Drake & Josh except 1 of Bert and Ernie :D and most made with caps by miss_trombone. they're rather simple but i'm just getting used to using PSP again. also, expect a lot of variations ;)
