California here we come

So I finally got my sister to upload the pictures from our RV trip. Some exciting things you'll see include the California coastline, a giant rock, a spiderweb, Santa Barbara, giant sea creatures, and a creepy angel statue (Blink and you're dead!)

Also, the pictures are pretty big - 2592x1944.

Can you see how orange the sky looks? That's because of the Zaca fire - the sun was red and ash was falling down like snow

Gorgeous photos...the orange sky is very cool. I remember it being like that in the interior of BC during all the massive wildfires a few years back...

Apparently there's a fire near San Jose right now. We saw smoke a couple days ago, but now the whole sky is dark and hazy and the sun is red. It looks cool, but I still feel like it's the end of the world or something ^_^

The coast is gorgeous. I just wish I hadn't been in a top-heavy RV going through winding roads. Instead of appreciating the view, I was praying we don't drive off a cliff ^_^
