don't wanna write mah essay
Oct. 11th, 2006 12:59 pmarchaeological writing is so boring! can't i just... dig?! *headdesk*
so, yesterday, i bought my very first alcohol! i didn't drink it (i hate the stuff) but i feel all old and stuff. except the guy at the counter didn't even card me o_0 i wanted to get carded so i can prove i'm 21. i also got English tea (yum!) and a Panda Bar (white and dark chocolate candy bar) where some of the money goes to help endangered animals (more yum!).
i was at Casey's last night and i had a really hard time working on my essay because we were watching Nip/Tuck and some Food Network thing where they built a giant Mickey Mouse out of popcorn (it looked like Mickey on crack). also, Casey's boyfriend is dorky and amusing and makes it even harder to study. but i don't really care because i had fun and i don't hang out with people my age enough. i usually can't stand them. also, i got to watch a brief moment of Boston Legal and i saw Quark and Odo together again! that made my Trekkie heart happy. oh, and Stephen Colbert in high heels also made my heart happy.
i must survive this essay on Friday (and studying this weekend for a test on Monday) so i can live to see the new Drake & Josh on Sunday. i must! and Doctor Who on Friday with Giles!!
one of these days, i'm going to have to go on a shopping spree at ThinkGeek.com (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/8ace/?cpg=38H among many things).
i'm forgetting something but my brain is ded. not good when i haven't actually done the essay yet :/
i need new icons...
From the scifi.com website:
SG-1 DVD Films Get OK'd
SCI FI Channel's original series Stargate SG-1 will wrap up its 10-year run this spring, but that's not the end of the saga. Executive producer Brad Wright told TV Guide that MGM has granted a green light, and enough money, to produce two movies, most likely for DVD.
The first film will tie up most of the finale's loose threads. "It's the climax of the Ori storyline," Wright said, and will be written and directed by executive producer Robert Cooper. The second film, written by Wright, will involve time travel, and both projects should debut in the fall of 2007.
Though no deals are signed, SG-1's stars are said to be "very eager" to continue, Wright added. "They're not big-budget [films] by any definition, but for us it's pretty good," he said. "As we've proven over the years, just give us little more money and we can make pretty good television or DVDs."
yay? i mean at least it won't just end, but it's still ending and this makes me emo.

There~ If that doesn't get you an A, I don't know what will!
Also, there is some less-rubbing alcohol-tasting stuff out there, you just have to find it. Girly drinks could be a good thing for you~ Then again, if it's a "moral" thing and not a taste thing, then ignore what I just said.

Date: 2006-10-12 12:53 am (UTC)I'm not really a big fan of girly drinks, but there's one that's called like, a "mudslide" or something. THAT I want to try. It's CHOCOLATE BOOZE FOR GOD'S SAKES~♥ *cough* But yeah, flavored drinks are a good way to start. You might like Apple Schnapps or something; a friend of mine swears by it XD She says it "tastes like candy~"
