impressed with myself
so my first day of work went rather well. (except i had to wake up at 5 AM) the people there are really nice and i got to inspect things that go into other, larger things ;P i get to measure their dimensions and make sure they fit the regulations. i get to look up files and enter info into a database! i'm easily amused. i figure this gives me some good practice for when i'm cataloguing bones and artifacts once i'm an archaeologist. there is also a fridge with free sodas so yay!diet coke and pepsi :D i need the free drinks. the room i'm stuck in is on the other side of the building- the part where there is no air conditioning. today, with a fan on, it was 86 degrees F and 66% humidity. gah :/ i'll be working there for about a month. but the best part is, i'll be making $10/hr and i get there at 7 am with my step-mom and i leave at around 5:30 pm. so yay!money and even more yay!first job. now i'll actually have something to put on applications. however i am slightly exhausted right now, so i'll leave it at that ^_^

oh again! there was a shipment from someone named DJackson at work and on the way home i saw a license plate that said "I <3 ROCKS" =D
