i'm tired. and my back is getting sore. my dad had to take my good chair with him yesterday because it wouldn't have fit in my mom's car so now i get the horrible chair that comes with the room :/ it's only for a week but still.
yesterday, my dad took a bunch of my dorm stuff to the cabin and then i copied notes for my Genome class until i went over my friend's apartment at about 5:30 pm. we went to the barn theater to see the Buffy Musical but we just barely got in. i didn't know it would be so popular. when we got there, there were practically no seats available. we found seats near each other but there was a pole in our way so she sat on the floor in front of me. it was pretty good actually. some lines were forgotten and i couldn't hear one of the singers, but still i had fun. Spike was played by a woman though. that definitely made the ending of the show interesting ;) and the guy i had a crush on last year was in the show. he played my favorite character too- Xander ^_^ he and the girl playing Anya were right in front of us and he was shirtless with his ass in my friend's face XD she said she had to keep herself from grabbing him. i had fun. then we went back to her place and watched movies on TV (The Rundown, Highlander, She's All That) with her roommates until 1 AM-ish. i didn't feel like taking the bus that late/early and i'm all the way on the other side of campus, so i slept in the front room. unfortunately they only have a two-seater couch, so i wasn't the most comfortable i've ever been :) but i barely got any sleep anyway. i stayed up until 3-ish watching Stripes. i <3 Harold Ramis. while looking him up at IMDB right now, i saw Ghostbusters in Hell- 2008?
this morning i left her place at 8:30 in the morning and took the bus to my dorm which luckily got there just as i did. i ate and now i'm working on my American essay. i just have to keep reminding myself that once i'm done with this essay, no more of this class. just get through this and then you're free. tomorrow i'm going downtown for coffee and to study at Borders with Tiffany. i also have to pack some more today so i can vacuum later this week. i can't see the floor with all my crap everywhere ;)
tengo hambre but the dining hall doesn't open for dinner until 5 pm. i think i'll get some coffee then and just spend the rest of the day/night working on this paper. i want to finish it so i can just focus on studying.
i've lost track of the days already. i almost started freaking out because i thought it was Monday... tomorrow i'll probably think i'm missing class. oh! and i've got to wake up early tomorrow so i can catch the match between the US and the Czech Republic. i almost started crying today when, after Mexico beat Iran, they kept mentioning that the father of one of the players (Mexico) died recently. from SI.com- "Goalkeeper Oswaldo Sánchez, who rejoined the team Saturday night after the death of his father, helped Mexico win its opener." and so i don't forget the schedule: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/soccer/worldcup/2006/schedule/
and i'll leave you with the word of the day (as given to me by Google)- emolument: the wages or perquisites arising from office, employment, or labor.
