i'm still excited

so i met my friend last night after her last class and we headed downtown where we had burritos for dinner. while sitting there eating, i started talking about Drake & Josh and it turns out my friend Casey has seen it and kind of likes it too. so i talk about it for about an hour, quotes, episode recaps, etc... she likes Drake and i like Josh so our plan is to stalk meet them this summer and Casey will rape marry Drake and i will rape marry Josh. and then when we are done with them, we'll help them get together because we're nice like that ;) and then somehow the conversation ended with us saying how we really want to color a coloring book. so after a minute of discussing that, we go over to Borders and look for some. Borders is not a good place for coloring books, but we did end up finding some. she got a really weird one with smiling animals and other creepy shit, a Scooby-Doo one with black paper and neon crayons, and i got an X-Men the Last Stand coloring book. then we headed over to the movie theatre and OMG there's a line! i mean i know it's X-Men, but still, i didn't even think there were that many people in Santa Cruz. someone actually painted their body blue! so while we waited for an hour in line, we colored. my coloring book only came with 4 colors- blue, red, black and brown- so we traded crayons and laughed. we finally got into the theatre and we sat in the 3rd row (by choice) and colored some more while we continued to wait. when the previews started, everyone started clapping. Superman looks meh, but i'll see it. The Omen looks funny (which it shouldn't). Ghost Rider looks... interesting (and won't be out until 2007). and then it came- SNAKES ON A PLANE. everyone in the audience started yelling and laughing and clapping like hell. Casey just looked at me and i was like "it's an internet thing." so after that, the audience was really worked up. i'll put the rest behind a cut except for one thing- Beast pwns everyone.



in no particular order (and i might add more later)- good lord they killed a lot of people! when they killed the Professor, i actually saw someone get up and leave the theatre. i almost cried at that. you can't kill Picard! where's Q when you need him?! i didn't care that Scott died. he was too emo... i do feel bad though that all he did was cry and die in this movie. oh well. Rogue giving up her powers really annoyed me. i can understand wanting to touch people, but sheesh! Magneto kicked some ass though. when he was picking up the cars, crushing them and flinging them, people were cheering. poor Mystique. and as upset as i am that he destroyed my Golden Gate Bridge, that was still pretty awesome. although i've rarely seen San Francisco that clear. where was my lovely fog? Phoenix could have been better though. i wanted to see more flames and phoenix-y stuff. oh well. i knew Wolverine was going to have to kill her. i could have done without the "die for you" stuff. Iceman was awesome fighting Pyro. that was hot. and Angel was barely in it although Ben Foster was looking good. he really pulled a 'Ryan Reynolds.' and finally, because i have to go pack, Beast now owns a part of my soul. i <3 him. when he started fighting, everyone cheered but i think i actually started the applause :D go me! oh and i loved my audience. we all laughed our asses off every time there was a serious moment or emotion of any kind. so overall, i enjoyed it, except for the killing of Jean-Luc. that made me emo.

and if you see it, don't forget to stay until the end of the credits. there's another scene and trust me, you need it.

so after that, we took a taxi and i got home around 2 in the morning. but i didn't go to sleep until 4 :/ and i skipped class today. oh well ^_^ now i'm off to pack for this weekend.

Fluckers. I stayed for the credits, tere was nothing *groooooooooooooowls* They turned it off before the credits rolled to an end *bites someone heads off*

OMG! Totally! Bet he's now in a better place snuggling The Trickster One :D

I don't like Cyclops, never did but in the movies, I wanted him to marry Logan and have children. They were my OTP, dammit!!! But it's ok, right? They didn't show that he died, he might be... there... somewhere...

the last scene was basically a way to make the Professor not-quite-dead. the scene was of the coma man from earlier and as the doctor woman comes to check on him, we hear Xavier's voice speak to her (i guess inside her head) saying her name (which i forget). and that's basically it. Professor X isn't quite dead :)

Heh - I think we agree on a lot of things. Not on Iceman, though; he and Pyro just annoy me. The "I would die for you" BS was indeed over the top. And I am in love with Beast.

i had a crush on Shawn Ashmore when i was younger so i couldn't help but like Iceman a little. plus, Iceman and Pyro just need to get it on ;) i think after this movie, everyone will be in love with Beast. which is good because i was worried about him.
