today was fun. my friend came over and we went downtown. i haven't been to downtown Santa Cruz since before last summer. it didn't help that buses haven't been running since school started. they only started running again thursday. so we went downtown. first thing we did was eat. i love Quiznos. mmm... toasty. then we went window shopping in some weird/cool stores. i told her that for a late birthday present i want that fork that extends to about 2 or 3 feet so you can steal food from other people's plates ;) that and/or this random magnet which i am drawn to for no good reason:





then we went to see what movies were playing and wound up buying tickets for "Chicken Little" 5 minutes before it began. i am so glad we randomly decided to see "Chicken Little"! that movie was awesome :) it was hilarious. the theatre had a bunch of little kids, but my friend and i were laughing the most [and loudest in my friend's case]. Zach Braff is adorable and i loved all the music. two thumbs up! then we went to get Starbucks. mmmm.... Starbucks. how i've missed you so. and finally we got Christmas cards [which i'm writing right now] and i got a new clear lip gloss from Rimmel for two reasons: 1) i am addicted to lip gloss. i don't wear lipstick or anything with color, but i love shiny lips and 2) the name reminds me of Rimmer and i am a loser ;) hey, it is from London. and my friend got one too- although she got the one that is supposed to plump your lips up like 40% or something.

so next weekend my friend is getting married and i get to be a witness :) wait. that means i have to wear a dress or a skirt doesn't it? that's it. when i get married, everyone's wearing jeans.

hehe. Red Dwarf is awesome. actually, i made this mood theme. i plan on posting it sometime soon. if i ever stop being lazy that is ;)

Red Dwarf IS awesome. I look forward to the movie, if it ever comes out. It has, after all, been in development for...five years? Six?

just in case you don't see it, i've posted the mood theme :) also, i want a Red Dwarf movie!! it has been a ridiculous amount of time- i hope they make it soon. also i hope it comes out in America. otherwise, i'm going to Europe to see it if i have to =D
