a Picture a Day - Day Twenty-four

I only slept about 1-2 hours tops last night. I actually fell asleep for a bit but woke up having an anxiety attack or something and instead of trying to sleep some more, decided to distract myself with TV and movies. Thankfully my friends have Netflix on their XBox, so I stayed up watching Stargate Continuum, a couple episodes from season 7 (Fallen when Jack say's 'Daniel' and his voice breaks, Enemy Mine, Space Race), an episode of News Radio (my childhood!), some Family Guy, and a movie, Humpday which was... interesting. And awkward. But yeah, the little bit of SG1 rewatching I did got me all nostalgic again.

I LOVE DANIEL JACKSON AND I WILL FOREVER SHIP THE HELL OUT OF JACK AND DANIEL.

Everyone was pretty damn awesome in this episode. Could have used more Jones though. But Neal moving on from Kate, and Peter basically being the love in his life now. And that hug made my heart do a little dance. I just. You can work with people and care about and respect them and be friends. But Peter and Neal, romantically or not, genuinely love each other and it makes me so happy to see. I would love to read about what the other characters think about all this. Agents get in trouble all the time, but how often to their CI's run up and hug them? Neal's voice when he first saw that Peter was safe kind of broke my heart ♥




Posters in my bedroom (which is now where my grandmother sleeps). The top left Atlantis poster actually came from a newspaper and is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I love everything about that poster. The ocean, the giant, ancient symbol (which looks like the 'gate symbol for Earth) rising up from the water, the lightening, ♥_♥ And Milo is basically Daniel Jackson in a steampunk universe and voiced by Michael J. Fox.

They're saying we might get snow tomorrow. For the first time since '79, I think.

While I do enjoy shipping Daniel with other guys (like Cameron or Paul), Jack/Daniel is my favorite SG1 pairing to 'ship! ♥

But Peter and Neal, romantically or not, genuinely love each other and it makes me so happy to see.

This! It makes me ridiculously happy to see them and their relationship, too. And, yes, someone needs to write that fic now. :)

Cool! We're having to keep an eye out for thunderstorms and possible severe weather. I love storms, but, hopefully, there won't be any tornadoes blowing through.

Their friendship, Peter and Neal's, is just lovely. They are both brilliant, but in such different and complementary ways. And I totally ship them, but I love how Peter (and even Elizabeth) has just adopted him into his family. Neal can still get into trouble and work a little outside of the law, but when it comes down to it, he has a family now. He has friends and a support system and a home. And it sounds like I want to adopt him, LOL.

Unfortunately no snow my way. I figured as much but they got our hopes up for nothing. *pouts*

Thunderstorms are fun, but yeah, I hope nothing too severe. Stay safe!
