* Still quite obsessed with everything Holmesian
* Went to

February
* I watched a vid on Youtube (15th) and it was promoting someone called Jessie J. on Vimeo. I took a look mostly because of the name and she looked kinda goth. Fell. In. Love. Love her attitude. Love her style. Love her voice. Love her music. And she's kind of adorable to boot. Love, LOVE her live/acoustic stuff ♥
March
* On the 6th, I finally finished Good Omens and now I'm obsessed with Crowley/Aziraphale. Something about a demon and an angel living as humans and loving each other more than they 'should' is just intoxicating.
* Bought the Starfleet Academy sweatshirt and now I'm trying not to buy other stuff so I can get a stand mixer to really start things off. Getting kind of low on $$ and I might have to finally transfer some of the money dad and Diane put away for me. Did taxes though and at least got about $300 back.
* On about the 12th, Noel was on Let's Dance for Comic Relief (in drag) and Julian showed up at the end and carried him away ♥
* On the 29th, I started watching a new (to me) Korean drama on Hulu called Shining Inheritance. It was recommended to me by a former coworker, Shaina.
April
* On the 2nd, I went to see Frankenstein with my mom at the Kabuki Theatre (Cindy couldn't make it). Benedict was supposed to be the Creature, but they showed the wrong one. Still a wonderful, intense play, but I was slightly disappointed because I had been hoping to see the other version. Really powerful performances all around though. Damn.
* On the 3rd, I went to WonderCon for the Doctor Who panel. Got a free t-shirt and an autograph from the director of some of the best DW eps and a soon-to-be director of an awesome Sherlock episode. Also had my picture taken with Artoo ;)
January
* Lexis got engaged
February
* Mom had back surgery on Monday the 7th and came home on the 8th
* That week (first week of recovery) I cooked something different for dinner every night (I'm really enjoying cooking/baking)
* My computer got a major virus from what I believe was Mediafire and I had to take it into Geek Squad like 3 times. They finally had to wipe it and I caved and bought Norton 360. It looked like they never really got it and Norton found a Trojan hiding as a PDF in my backup files. I've backed most of the important stuff up, but I'm super paranoid now about using my computer. I don't trust anything any more :/
* I'm going to an open house for the Art Institute of California on the 21st. I'm going to be looking into their baking and pastry program. I think it's something I could be interested in.
March
* Baking school is really expensive, so I looked at classes at City and they're filled up for like the rest of the year. Going to keep trying, and keep looking, but I think I'm just going to go ahead and look for work within that field and see what happens.
* Cut my hair super short again and dyed it black.
* On the 11th, a 9.0 earthquake and then tsunami hit Japan. Besides donating to the Red Cross via text, I also put icons and a Japanese snack package up for auction at

* I finally caved and applied for unemployment. Don't know yet if I'll get it (I have a phone interview on the 28th) but I have gotten all sorts of paperwork from them including something I have to fill out and send back. This is also forcing me to apply for jobs for the first time in like 4 months :/ (ETA: Didn't get unemployment)
