a Picture a Day - Day Five

This picture doesn't even do it justice. When you see it in person, it looks 3D or something. I also have a blue and a pink that came in the set with this orange. They're actually matte colors, but I added a shiny topcoat. Also, you can see just how crappily I paint my nails XD

I'm finding it difficult to not just staaaaaare at my nails for long periods of time 0_0

I might also have a bit of a nail polish addiction. I hear it's not as bad as some people, but I love colors. The bright oranges/pinks! The dark purples/blacks! The greys, the mints, not so much the blues because they don't look right on my skin but I love what they look like in the bottle so I get them anyway!

I loves it! It's some random brand which I had never heard of and it sounded generic - Color Zone. I got in it a Marshall's and I honestly was expecting it to be watery and no good. But it was vibrant from the first coat. I still did two coats and a shiny clear top coat just to make sure all was even, but yes. Quite pleasantly surprised. Oh, and you know it's 'top quality' because there is no color name ;D

Dude, I'm telling you, it doesn't look like a real brand! I love the colors, but I just hope there aren't any horrible toxins seeping into my blood stream 0_0 (That's why I use a base coat, just in case my polish is poisoned! Assuming it even works that way...)

Pretty! You're better at painting nails than I am. I end up painting part of my skin along with the nail (and end up messing it up before it dries). =P Plus, I suck at making the polish look even.

Thank you! But let me tell you, Q-tips soaked with nail polish remover are my best friends when it comes to painting nails. Helps to get the bit of skin you've painted all over. And I know what you mean about getting it even though. Sometimes it really depends on the polish itself. I've been known to miss whole sides of nails ;)
