Psych, I've missed you so much!

In other happy-making news:

* Casting news for Community's season 2 premiere (!!!) "She'll play professor June Bauer, an esteemed, albeit slightly unhinged, anthropology professor." Betty White playing an anthropology professor? TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS COMBINED!

* There may be a position available at my friend's workplace and she put in a good word about me. It offers double what I make now.

* I might have gotten a friend into Doctor Who. I was going on about series 5 today and she said it sounded really interesting and she'd love to give it a go :D

I know, dude! Betty White playing an unhinged anthro prof? I can't wait.

Heh, I wonder what type of anthropologist her character will be? You know, if they reference it at all. Usually the classes are supposed to be intro ones Community so they may not specify.

Oh, man I don't even know which way they'll go with this, but I can't wait. And that's true. It's an intro to Anthro, so it'll just be basic stuff for now. But if this becomes a regular thing, it could go a million different ways :)

Hee, the field is so broad that they could go in man different directions as you said. I think it'd be funny if they made her either a cultural/ethnographer type or an archaeologist for some reason. I really can't wait for the next season of Community, I love the series so much!

I'm probably leaning towards the cultural/ethnographer type just because I see that working so well with her. I also think Abed could have some fun with that class. I'd love to see her as an archaeologist though. Maybe an unlikely Indiana Jones type who's a badass with a whip. Any way they go with it, I can't wait! It really is a good series, smart and funny. I can't believe they didn't do better with the Emmys :/
