The Brothers Bloom was a great movie, but made me depressed. Pandorum was creepy and sort of reminded me of The Descent in space. Make the Yuletide Gay was a charming little movie that made me cry, but at least in a good way. But ever since I went and saw The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day, I can't get it out of my head.

It finally opened in the theatre by my house, but the only show is at 9pm. So one day after work, I asked my mom if she was willing to take me. She sort of agreed, but in the time between when we got home and when the movie was going to start, she had gotten angry and had fallen asleep. But I needed to see this movie. So at 8:30, I had to take the bus (it was freakin cold and dark), and by the time the movie got out, buses had stopped running so I had to take a taxi home. Worth it though.

Anyway, long story short, I'm reobsessed with the MacManus brothers.

But how about some links, eh?

If the Earth had rings - Holy crap, this is beautiful. And makes me slightly sad we don't actually have rings :( I'd love to watch them seem to grow/shrink as you flew across the world.

Preview for the next episode of Community. Okay, now I can't decide who I love more: Abed or Troy. I guess it's a good thing they come as a pair.

The trailer is up for St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold - LOL at Colin Firth for 'beauty' and "Some women are born great, like the Queen. Some become great, like Lady Gaga."

NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS - Doctor Who special!!

And that's all I can remember right now. Work is getting crazy (thanks a lot, holidays) and I really need to start my Christmas shopping. I'll also be starting on my cards soon, so let me know IF YOU WANT A CHRISTMAS CARD FROM ME ;D

You know what? I think I'll end with this

Ok, I need to live vicariously through people who actually got to see it - TELL ME, HOW AWESOME WAS IT?!

I have to admit, I was nervous going into it just because I love the first one so much. But I had so much fun. There was action, good music, I was laughing through a lot of it, there were a lot of inside jokes, the brothers were being their goofy, stupid selves and wrestling/arguing when there were more important things going on, the old characters were still awesome and the new characters held their own quite well. They also leave it open for another movie, but not in a lame let's-milk-this-for-as-long-as-we-can way, but more like their story really isn't over and you want to know what happens next. Because no matter what, you love these boys <3

TL;DR I ENJOYED THE HELL OUT OF THAT MOVIE

Did you see the first (well, first after the opening monologue) 5 minutes of the movie that I posted?

Oh, you have no idea how happy this makes me! Because I suppose us fangirls would judge this movie very differently than most people, since we love the first one so much. And if you loved it - then I'm pretty should I would too! YAY.

I saw that you posted it but didn't watch, I'm trying to keep myself mostly spoiler free for that movie.

Yeah, I made the mistake of seeing what Rotten Tomatoes had to say about it. It's not pretty, LOL. But I also read a review by someone who said BDS was one of those movies where you either LOVED IT or HATED IT (with the odd ones not really caring either way). And the fans of BDS are crazy!great - driving ridiculous distances to watch it in theatres and support it and, unlike most sequels nowadays, actually enjoying and loving the new movie.

Probably best to stay spoiler free. I was as well going into it and yeah. Good choice ;) Now I just want to see it posted somewhere, because while I will definitely buy it when it comes out, I want to see it again. NOW.
