I believe I've answered this before, but what the hell. Why not?
In Stargate SG-1, there are these two characters - Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson. They are BFFs. Early in the show - first episode of the second season - Jack thinks that Daniel is dead (he supposedly died on a spaceship where he was injured and stayed behind so his friends could escape). At the end of the episode, when Jack sees that Daniel is in fact not dead, he smiles and in a room full of Marines and Flyboys, hugs Daniel and calls him 'Spacemonkey' <3

As for the 'luvn' ending, well... just 'spacemonkey' was taken. I was also young and stupid and liked to spell things incorrectly. I don't know. But I've grown to love it. That and it's my identity online. It's a part of me now, that name. I AM Spacemonkeyluvn ;)
