For some reason, the end of House made me think of that episode of Red Dwarf where Rimmer & Lister are having a heart-to-heart after Rimmer's dad dies and at the end, the Cat ruins it. (That's also one of my favourite episodes, for that scene. & the idea of kid!Lister with his head down the toilet is cute)
