I went to the mall the other day in order to find an outfit for my birthday. I couldn't find a dress I liked, so I bought a new pair of jeans and a nice top. I needed new jeans anyway, so it's all good.

Tomorrow I go the reopening of the California Academy of Sciences!!! And then karaoke at night to celebrate my birthday =D

I finished the last episode of Lost in Austen yesterday - Wow. Was that the biggest self-insert fic come to life I've ever seen. I enjoyed it for its crackiness, but it just felt wrong. So wrong in fact, I wasn't even sure what had happened at first. They switched places? I mean, who doesn't want a Mr. Darcy? (Okay, I'm sure a lot of people don't, but that's not the point.) I guess Elizabeth would rather go back to our world anyway, but I don't know. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was all in Amanda's head, but you can't rewrite Pride & Prejudice!

Basically, Amanda is like Sam Tyler and would rather live in her head/fantasy world. While I can completely understand that, in Amanda's case, if I were her at least, I'd feel too guilty. She's loved their love for over 10 years and then she comes in and 'steals' Darcy? I know Elizabeth and Darcy never had the chance to fall in love in this AU, but... I'm just over-thinking a cracky show; don't mind me ^_^

I also finally got around to listening to the Torchwood radio show - Overall, I enjoyed it. The ending felt slightly anticlimactic, but the brilliance that is Ianto Jones makes up for just about anything. His bike does have a bell after all ;)

I just watched the new episode of SGA - I've been so caught up with other fandoms that I forgot just how much I love and miss Daniel <3 I enjoyed the interaction between Daniel and Rodney. I also quite enjoyed John being so worried about Rodney and then their thinking alike scene.

I still love that everyone else calls him Dr. Jackson. I love that Daniel's all 'whatever' to people not believing in him at first because he's usually right about these things. I loved Daniel acting like getting abducted is no big deal. I loved him trying to reason with the 'aliens' and wondering why they were still wearing their suits. I laughed and then wanted to cry when Daniel was worried about dangerous radiation *hugs Daniel*

The only thing I think this episode could have used was somebody saying "General O'Neill is going to kill us" after Daniel gets kidnapped. Because it's true. You don't mess with the General's archaeologist/boyfriend. You just don't.

I hate 'To Be Continued's :/

OMG, I totally forgot about the 'John and Rodney Figure It Out' portion of the show! (I guess that kinda blows Rodney's 'I realized I had to think not like me, so I thought like John' theory from The Daedalus Variations all to hell!)

I adored the amount of Rodney love in this episode. SO MUCH WIN \o/
