Sep. 19th, 2008 03:22 pmSo the interview the other day went well. I think. But one way or another, I should be hearing from them by middle of next week.
Until then I need to listen to the Torchwood radio show and I have quite a few movies on my computer that I need to actually watch. Oh, and I need to catch up on Lost in Austen. My friend and I saw some of that while actually in London, and since I've been back I'm trying to start from the beginning.
Other than that, I'm still sick and now crampy too (yay!). But while everyone in the house is out at school or work, I've been blasting the Mamma Mia! soundtrack and dancing around the house. Not a bad way to spend the days.
... OK, so I wasn't going to talk about Colin Firth again today, but then I read
fandomsecrets and there are TWO Colin secrets today. It must be a sign. Or something.
Anyway, I just found bloopers from St. Trinian's where Colin Firth and Rupert Everett make out. A bit. At the end.
Bonus video:
I better finish and post this before Firefox decides to close on me again. I don't know if it's Firefox or my brother's computer. Either way, it's annoying as hell.
Hopefully I'll have pictures from my mini-Eurotrip by this weekend.

He was pretty amazing in Then I Found Her. Although even that performance could have been improved by penis.

Date: 2008-09-20 09:47 pm (UTC)I actually just bought that movie from Target. I haven't watched it yet, though. Hopefully I'll be able to some time this weekend.
And I think it's safe to say that damn near everything can be improved by Colin Firth's penis. Unfortunately, I cannot offer said penis, but I can offer you:

Date: 2008-09-20 10:14 pm (UTC)Well, first I'll give you what IMDB says: 'St Trinian's, a school for "young ladies" with its anarchic doctrine of free expression, brings together a motley crew of ungovernable girls who, using their wit and ingenuity, save the school from bankruptcy.'
I originally just wanted to watch it for the cast though - Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Stephen Fry,and Russell Brand <3 But I ended up enjoying it much more than I thought I would. It's definitely a fun movie, not to take too seriously. The school is bankrupt and needs money so they girls decide rather than having to go to normal schools, they would try to save St. Trinian's by stealing the painting Girl with a Pearl Earring. While the girls are trying to pull off this heist, Colin Firth (as the head of education or something) is trying to make an example of St. Trinian's by getting them under control thus making less horrible schools simply fall in line. So the girls have to deal with the school being bankrupt and/or being turned into a 'regular' school with actual classes and discipline.
Honestly, I think it's worth it just to hear the song Colin and Rupert sing together during the credits ^_^
