I think it's okay to miss it so early because there just was't enough of it. I'm so used to, if not many seasons, than at least 20 or so episodes. British TV makes me sad sometimes. But I guess quality is more important than quantity. Or something ;)
heh, awesome. I just started it a few weeks ago and am so in love, love with it! Ashes to Ashes is starting soon but I don't know how I feel about a show with Gene in it, without Sam. but it does look good, I am sure I will snag it.
I only finished watching it over the summer I think. Not too long ago though. I had been meaning to watch it for the longest time, but never had the chance. I saw one episode and fell hard.
I'll probably watch Ashes to Ashes but only for Gene. Okay, and Chris and maybe Ray. But it won't be the same without Sam there. I don't know if you read spoilers for A2A but I'm not really looking forward to how they explain Sam's absence.
yeah I haven't read the spoilers yet, I don't plan to. I'm not sure if I will like it without Sam, but I do love Gene and like Chris and Ray so I am sure I will watch at least for those characters.
Have you read the Life on Mars Slasher's Guide? It's over here - http://severa.livejournal.com/1004649.html (scroll down for an index of each episode). It's a wonderful summary of all the Gene/Sam highlights in each episode. Makes me wish I had the DVDs all the much more.
I hadn't seen that, thanks! I have read like, I don't know, dozens of Gene/Sam fics in the last couple of weeks. oh and I accidentally spoiled myself for the thing with Sam in A2A by reading a fic, so yeah that sucks. but it fits in a way, I always see him with Gene(and not just from my slash obsessed brain, but in general, being his partner in work) so I guess that makes it more acceptable that in a way that he wouldn't be there.
oh and I don't know if you saw it but I posted a Sam Tyler fanmix to my LJ yesterday.
