I'm getting drawn back into my older fandoms. All this talk about Red Dwarf, the DVR recording The Sentinel, listening to S Club 7... It's like a time warp.

I was going through the RD art stuffs I've made and wow. I forgot just how active I was. Icons, wallpapers, fanmix, moodtheme, 100 icons of just Rimmer, 50 of Rimmer/Lister. Those were the days. I might not like everything I've made, but it's nice to see it all again. It's been a while. I also noticed I was using some S Club lyrics on TS icons ^_^

And watching actual episodes of S Club 7 brought back so many memories. That song 'Spanish' Jon sang, I had on a tape recorder and would listen - and laugh - over and over again. (Same thing with the song from Young Hercules). I used to have such a crush on Jon. I even had the Jon Lee action figure/Ken-style doll. I remember thinking Hannah and Jon would make such a cute couple. They are ridiculously adorable BFFs. Of course, that was before I realized Jon is most likely gay, which would explain why I had a crush on him in the first place. Nevertheless, Hannah & Jon = BFF <3

Although it's like freakin 90 degrees F here, I keep feeling like it should be cold and I should be wrapped up in a blanket watching Starsky & Hutch, Star Trek: TOS, Red Dwarf, the first few seasons of SG1, The Sentinel (when are they putting the rest of that shit on DVD?!), etc.

I don't know... Also, I want The Middleman on DVD. Now.

When I was really into it, I was REALLY INTO IT. I might not be as much now, but I still love it <3

I just wish my DVDs weren't at my mom's house. But I'll be going back this weekend, so I guess I'll be watching it soon ^_^

I definitely felt like that the other day during SciFi's marathon of The Sentinel, which was one of my first slash fandoms. Jim! Blair! Almost embarrassingly gay amounts of subtext! My heart.

Well, if you're in the Sentinel fandom, you're kind of in a slash fandom by default, Y/N? ^_^

The Sentinel was one of the first shows where I felt like my pairing wasn't just what I wanted or believed to be true, but actually wascanon. Hell, by the end, the actors said if the show had continued, Jim and Blair would have become a couple <3

I really hope there are TONS of extras. The people behind the show seem like the type to add all sorts of geeky things. Which would make me extremely happy XD

It's quite awesome, isn't it? You feel like the fandom would never be to you what it used to had been... and then you get a news like that or re-watch an old episode and realize it still rocks (and those 2 guys didn't stop being slashy). i got hat with Enterprise a couple of weeks back - oh, I don't want to watch that, it sucked and I say it as a fan but I really want to read Malcolm/Trip slash.
