I really enjoyed this episode. I did. But I do wish that Lassiter, Juliet, Shawn, and Gus would work together more. As much as I've been enjoying the new episodes, I always feel a little empty at the end. Not enough Shawn/Lassiter interaction, I think.

At least the Shawn/Gus BFF thing has been going strong. I loved this whole exchange (paraphrased):

"Why aren't you more excited about this?!"
"Because I'm not a raccoon."
"You look like a raccoon."
*both point at each other*

<3

So even though Weir wasn't my favorite character, I really don't like what they did to her character. Nobody deserves that kind of fate and I feel like it's a cop out. It's not even a proper ending. They're still out there somewhere and if they're found... I don't know. It just felt weak to me.

Looking forward to next week's episode though.

In other news, I finally saw Mamma Mia! last night - I loved it. I had a feeling I would. I didn't think I'd care so much, but I was really hoping that Harry would be the father. I didn't care if he ended up with Donna, I just wanted him to be Sophie's dad.

And I saw that 'look' between Harry and that other guy when everyone was dancing and I thought 'hmmm, that's an interesting shot.' Turns out it wasn't just my slash goggles. Harry was just realizing he was gay. I wasn't the least bit surprised though. He was my favorite character. I love how it came as a total surprise for my dad and stepmom though. I keep forgetting everyone isn't as tuned into this stuff as I am ;D Neither of them noticed that 'look' during the dancing scene. When I saw it, however, my mind went straight back into the gutter. As if it's ever anywhere else.

Also, I suppose it has been a long time coming, but I'm kind of craving all things Colin Firth right now. Feel free to share any and all other pictures of him you might have.

Haha, you had the same reaction to Harry in Mamma Mia that I did! (I mean, if does count as gay subtext, there are gay people in almost every movie I've ever seen.)

I'm avoiding your comments about SGA & Psych because I haven't seeeeen them yet!!!!

Firthspam, you say? I believe I can be of service...

I totally agree with everything you said, about both SGA and Psych. :) The Weir storyline was completely... meh. She wasn't my favourite character either, but doing that was just wrong.

I've been really enjoying Psych lately! It started out as just you know, a fun show to watch when I didn't have anything else, but I've started to really LOVE it during the second season. Yay! (the whole Racoon exchange was adorable!)

Yaaaaaaaaaaay!

*cough* I mean, thank you very much for the Firthspam ;D

Once you've watched it, I'll be especially curious to know what you think about SGA.

That's how Psych started for me. Just a fun show to watch on Friday. But now I can't get enough and I absolutely LOVE it. The characters are just so much fun =D

Shawn and Gus are just freakin' adorable BFFs. And Shawn and Lassiter are always fun to watch together. You know Lassiter loves it <3

LOL

I kept showing my RL friend all these pix of Colin and how my computer's background is him as well, and she said "u just go straight to obsessed dont you?"

I say, why waste time? It's more fun if you just throw yourself in and enjoy it as fully as possible. Also, I wasn't doing anything else today ;)

I look forward to it!

I agree 100% on your Psych comments! And that was my favorite exchange in the episode, too, but my favorite part was when Shawn tried to slide across the hood of the car a la Dukes.

That bit was fantastic. Embarrassingly wonderful. Especially when after he did that, he said he needed a tetanus shot XD

I totally agree with you. I don't care for the whole Replicator arc (or arcs, really) to begin with -- the only part about it that interested me was FRAN, and now they've even diminished that part by having the actress replace Torri as Weir. And I can definitely see why she refused to come back on the show, and kind of love her for it.

The SGA writers have left so many loose ends flapping in the breeze that I just roll my eyes now. I think they are so wracked by indecision that it makes it impossible for them to write any kind of conclusion.

Can't give you any Colinpics but I strongly approve of this message and would like to receive your newsletter.

I didn't see the look (I dare to call myself a slasher! ;_;) and was shocked when he turned out to be gay, mostly because when he was talking about his gayness, I've been thinking: "haha, he's talking that he thinks he's sophie's dad but it looks like he's saying that he's gay, haha!" (talk about double subversion!), however when I saw the movie for the second time, I did notice it!

I thought I was reading too much into that look when I first saw it. And I thought they were trying to make us think he was coming out when they were really talking about being a father. So when Harry stood up, said Donna was the last woman he will ever and looked at that young man, I was pretty shocked. I was thinking it, but wasn't hoping for it ;)

I loved him in that too! And What a Girl Wants.

It's always been something in the back of my mind, but something about him in Mamma Mia! made me finally realize just how much I <3 him. I finally saw the light!
