heh, I adore Shawn but I would rather shag Gus!;) and Ianto, I really only know from Who, the clips of Torchwood that I have seen and from hanging out with Who geeks. and while I like Gareth David-Lloyd a lot, I don't think Ianto would do much for me.

I'm loving the Lassiter love. I was thinking the other day just how much he reminds me of Rimmer and Shawn as Lister ^_^

I don't really know about shagging either Shawn or Gus, but I'd LOVE to just hang out with them. Gus is such a geek, I love him <3

I think why I attached to the Shawn/Lassiter ship fairly quickly is that their dynamic reminded me of Rimmer/Lister. I see why people ship Shawn/Gus and any of the other slash or het pairings. but S/L is the one that clicks for me. thanks to a post that a friend recently did, I decided that my two ultimate OTP are Rimmer/Lister and Jed/Abbey from The West Wing, and it is funny how much those two ships are reflected in other ships that I enjoy. with slash, I do tend to go for the whole snarky-opposite-ambivalent-friends thing. and with het, I tend to enjoy mature, intelligent, equally matched adults.

they are just such fun adorable characters. with Gus, I think part of it for me is that I was impressed by Dule Hill, I loved him as Charlie on the TWW and whenever I watch him as Gus, I never think of Charlie. Charlie was a character that I would have loved to hang out with too, but I didn't find him hot. but for whatever reason I do find Gus hot, maybe it is just because he is cute and a geek.

Shawn and Gus are (and I really mean this) ridiculously adorable together. But I don't see anything sexual between them. Soul mates, yes. But platonic. Not so platonic with Lassiter, though ;)

I'm definitely with you on those dynamics - both het and slash. Well, for het my OTP of OTPs (Mulder/Scully) was like that, but my others seem to be just like my slash pairings.

I'm tempted to watch some West Wing, just to see Dule Hill's character. I know at least enough about the show to know how different it is from Psych. But for you to not even think about his other character when watching Gus is pretty damn impressive. Not that I ever doubted his fine acting abilities ^_^
