my brain hurts
Feb. 5th, 2007 02:03 pmi'm in the computer lab right now and i'm gonna be here until 6 when i'm meeting with a classmate to study for our Earth Science & Cinema midterm on Wednesday. i'm tired and my eyes are not happy with having stared at a computer screen for 4 days in a row (about 6 hours each time). at least i'm actually getting work done! that's... something.
Wednesday night i'm going to dinner with Casey. i saw her and her boyfriend on the bus this morning. i knew she had a paper due today so i asked if she had finished it. she told Chris (her boyfriend) to tell me what happened cause she couldn't talk about it. she had written her paper and was saving it to a flash drive only to remove the flash drive without ejecting it first (or something) and her paper was basically lost. i think it was only a rough draft but still. all that work and then that.
and the other day, i called my grandma to see how she's doing. (i go to school in Santa Cruz. i can see the ocean from almost everywhere on campus.) she ended the conversation by telling me to stay out of the ocean and to look out for sharks because they are clever and hide where you wouldn't think to look for them. thank you, Grandma. i'll keep an eye out for any sharks next time i'm walking through the woods (well, you wouldn't expect them there!). i love my grandma. *loves*
