MERRY CHRISTMAS (eve)!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I'm going to be spending mine watching a crap-load of TV (mostly the Stargate marathon on Sci-Fi) and tracking Santa. I think I'll also make a gingerbread house if I'm not feeling too lazy ^_^

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Both.

2. Real tree or artificial?
Always real.

3. When do you put up the tree?
My mom gets one the day after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Sometime in January. Whenever the needles start falling off and the tree looks sad.

5. Do you like Eggnog?
Yes, but without alcohol and only a little at a time.

6. Favourite gift received as a child?
I can't remember. My favorite gift was something I got for my birthday. I can't really remember what I've gotten for Christmas over the years. Usually I ask for specific things too, so what I get is almost always what I want.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
My stepmother does, but at home, no.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
My friends. I'm not exactly a 'normal' 22 year-old. When they want clothes and shoes, I want British shows on DVD.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
Myself ;) My mom, I guess.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Can't remember any really bad ones.

11. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail if possible.

12. Favourite Christmas Movie?
I don't really care for most Christmas movies. I do love the Claymation Christmas, though. 1987 FTW!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
During the whole year, if I see anything. Real Christmas shopping, I don't know. It varies - October, November.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
My mom gives me Starbucks gift cards that she won't use, but other than that, no.

15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas?
I usually eat Italian food from Caesar's and a bunch of cookies, pies, cakes, etc.

16. Clear lights or coloured on the tree?
Usually colored.

17. Favourite Christmas song?
"12 Days of Christmas" by the Muppets, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, I don't know.

18. Travel for Christmas or stay at home?
I'm usually at home.

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers reindeer(grammar meme writers!)?
A few, but I don't feel like typing them out. Probably not all of them though ^_^

20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
I think we have a star.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
We open one each on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas morning.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
Everything. I don't like the holidays. There is too much pressure for it to be a perfect day and then when that doesn't happen, my mom gets stressed out and I want to go back to school. Also, it sure seems like everything that could go wrong waits until now to happen.

23. What I love most about Christmas?
Honestly, time off from school/finals and presents. I love hanging out with my friends, but that has nothing to do with Christmas itself as much as the time off.

24. What I love least about Christmas?
Same as #22.

What would be Christmas without Petrellicest?

I actually had a wonderful dream the other night where Peter and Nathan were at a family Christmas but Peter went outside because the family (more specifically his mother) was driving him crazy. Nathan went out to talk to him. It was snowing out there and it was kind of dark except for the lights from inside the house. Somehow their conversation turned into them making out in the snow. What a wonderful Christmas ^_^
