list o' happiness
Oct. 11th, 2007 12:58 pm1. The Right Brain vs Left Brain test. I'm a mix I guess. I can see it going both ways, but my first response was to see it spinning to the right.
2. Pushing Daisies was hilariously awesome again. I couldn't stop laughing when Vogler from House was able to escape from the body bag because of his secret love for knitting XD
3. Finally, the Heroes/Sesame Street connection I've been looking for! (aka Matt/Mohinder = Bert/Ernie)
4. I got series 1&2 of The Mighty Boosh in the mail yesterday and my new DVD player does play them =D
And I'm working on my homework now because I was too busy watching the Boosh to do it last night.
5. Ryan Gosling's new movie Lars and the Real Girl looks wonderfully awkward. I can't wait until it comes out in a theatre around here.

Date: 2007-10-11 08:19 pm (UTC)That bit was SO FREAKING BRILLIANT. Knitting saves the world! What's great is that I'm sure we'll see even more knitting in the show, which is just divine. He knits socks for his "stash"! Sorry, in the past two hours I've gone from knowing almost nothing about Pushing Daisies to drooling fangirl. Hee!
I want to see Lars and the Real Girl. It looks funny and sad and I like that mixture.
That twirling dancer bit is scary.
It was going strongly clockwise for a long long time for me. Couldn't figure out how on earth someone could think it was going anti-clockwise... until I cut off visually everything above the waist. From the waist down, I could blink my eyes and have the twirling switch between the two. I am, naturally, strongly left-brained but have very good right-brained traits such as spatial recognition.

Date: 2007-10-11 11:14 pm (UTC)That is quite alright ^_^ It's nice to fall for something while it's actually being shown. I seem to find a lot of shows after they've already aired. Not that that's a bad thing. Marathon! But it's nice to be excited each week.
Ryan Gosling was my first real childhood crush. Watching him on the Mickey Mouse Club, Breaker High, Goosebumps, Young Hercules and seeing him now as an awesome actor (Academy Award Nominee!) it's just so surreal. Good for him though <3
