You know, I didn't watch this show... but I couldn't find it. When the hell was it even on? My roommate and I would discuss how interesting it looked, and then fail to find it.
...the scifi channel sucks, if not for Atlantis and Doctor Who I'd boycott. Why won't they pick up Torchwood? Why do they enjoy cancelling shows that aren't Battlestar Galactica? I believe the producers of BSG are providing sexual favours. Seriously. That's my theory.
And I'm genuinely suprised Eureka got picked up for a season 2 - it's a fun show, but it didn't seem to be proving very popular. I've heard more people talking about The Dresden Files than Eureka, oddly enough since Eureka was on during Crazy Friday Science Fiction Party Time and Dresden was hard to find (for me, anyway).
Another show falling victim to poor marketing thanks to their network...?
the scifi channel really does suck. unfortunately, i also like Atlantis and Doctor Who. it makes no sense why they wouldn't pick up Torchwood, and i'm thinking you might be right about the producers of BSG providing sexual favors. they really do love that show, don't they. at the expense of everything else.
i didn't know that Eureka got picked up for a second season, but that kind of surprises me too. it's not terrible (although i've only seen an ep or two) but i don't think i've heard anyone talk about it.
the scifi channel needs to be run by fans, or at least people who care about the shows and listen to their audience.
i know! we can't just have one season. i love the books, but i love tv!Bob even more. i've heard a lot of people saying a lot of good things about The Dresden Files, but the scifi channel has proved many times that it doesn't know a good thing when it sees one. i hope they realize that, or maybe the show can get picked up by a different channel? i refuse to believe that it's the end already. even if it doesn't look so good.
