i seem to have chipped off a piece of my glasses- not the lens, but the frame. i didn't notice until this morning, but i have no idea when or how it happened. luckily, it's not too obvious.

i have to send out a bunch of cards today- my dad's 50th is on Thursday, mother's day is on Sunday, and i have to send out a sympathy card to my stepmom. her mom died last week. my dad, stepmom, and sister were in North Carolina most of last week. i'm still not sure how i'm feeling about that. i rarely saw her, so i almost don't believe it. i can't imagine how the family is doing though. she was only 71. my grandma is going to be 91 this summer.

in other, less depressing news, i've finished the first series of 'Spaced,' and i can't stop staring at this picture. it's... fascinating.



also, i was very happy (and geekishly excited) to find out that David Arnold was the composer for Hot Fuzz- he's also the composer from Stargate- and that Peter Jackson was the guy dressed as Father Christmas.

I have yet to see Hot Fuzz(I really, really need to though) but I adore Spaced and Shaun of the Dead! so brilliant!

thank you. she was sick for quite a while. at least she's not suffering any more.

and you really must see Hot Fuzz. in the theatre, if you can. i'm just getting into Spaced and everything else they've been in, but i'm loving it. i think Spaced is now one of my favorite shows <3

About your glasses - That sort of thing sucks >_< I have a ring and the opal got chipped in it and I didn't notice for I don't know how long. I was able to get it fixed, but gah! Pricey.

I keep hearing about Hot Fuzz. Must find out what it's about...

thank you. i never really knew her all that well, but i feel bad for my sister and stepmom. but she was really sick and not getting any better so at least she's not suffering any more.

as for my glasses- i wouldn't even mind so much if i just knew HOW it happened. that sucks about your ring though. i love opal (my birthstone) but i know it's like 10% water and can crack/chip really easily.

and i keep telling everyone i know or talk to that they have to see Hot Fuzz. i haven't laughed that hard in a movie in ages. i was actually starting to cry i was laughing so hard. good times =D
