has anyone else noticed that Robitussin® Cough DM tastes a little like how Play-Doh smells? no. is it just me again? also, Round Table pizza is disgusting when your nose is plugged up and you can only taste the 'essence' of food.
in case you haven't guessed it yet, i've been rather sick the past week. i'm feeling much better now. no more fever or chills. and no more cramps while also being sick! (damn nature) however, i'm now at the wonderful stage of trying-to-cough-my-lungs-out. which is especially fun during lectures. at least i'm not alone. misery and all that. everyone on campus is sick/was sick/is getting sick. meh. i'd say i hate being sick, but who doesn't? it wouldn't have been so bad if i could at least miss school. but being on a quarter system, i can't afford to miss a day. so for the past week, it's been class then sleep. i haven't been online or anything (the headaches made it too hard to stare at the comp screen). i just got finished going back 980 entries, but alas, no further.
school is being it's usual sucky self ;) this quarter's gonna kill me.
i'm back on an SG-1 (Jack/Daniel) kick. been watching the 7th and 8th season over the weekend. i was showing my brother the opening scene for "Prometheus Unbound" (best way to open a show- ever) and he commented that Jack and Daniel argue like an old married couple. yes they do, Geoffrey. yes they do. my thought is that when Daniel is trying to convince Jack to let him go (since when has Daniel waited for approval before doing what he wanted?), he was going to withhold sex from Jack but then Walter shows up and Daniel could only get out "Because..." also, how much do i love Walter for just showing up and completely ignoring the lovers' quarrel going on right in front of him. i wonder what Jack and Daniel would have said/done in Jack's office if Hammond hadn't shown up? and yay for more J/D speaking-in-unison <3
you just need to watch the first 2 minutes of this one:
what else? Monk had Sean Astin! Psych was awesome again (but really, have they gone wrong yet?) i might be a bit more exicted about this one though because it had space (which is awesome- including Pluto joke!) and the girl's name was Jessica =D
and because i'm getting pretty tired and i still have homework tofinish start, i'll leave you with this clip from Family Guy last night that made me oh so happy
now i'm off to try and eat something. lately i've been hungry and nauseous at the same time. i had nothing but liquids for 3 or 4 days and i haven't eaten more than once a day last week. except last night but i paid for that. Heroes tonight. okay, so i've only seen one full episode but there's more Christopher Eccleston tonight.

Date: 2007-02-01 09:38 pm (UTC)and the 80s were great if only for the amount of Michael J. Fox in the world. how anyone could not like him is beyond me. and all this talk of Back to the Future has made me want to watch it again. maybe tonight...
