- it's raining!!

- yesterday i went to see Night at the Museum with my mom and brother. it was funny ^_^ then we went to our cousins' house for dinner. i was omgsofull last night! mmmm... food.

- i woke up this morning to hear my mom and grandma yelling at each other *sigh* so i went with my mom to drop grandma back off in Antioch. well, they lasted about 3 whole days and they didn't kill each other, so i'd call it a success. while in Antioch, we went to Walmart so mom could buy the special edition Underworld dvd. she loves that movie. after we got back into the city, we decided to go to Best Buy because my brother and i had gift certificates. he got stuff for his Xbox 360 and i got SG1 season 8 and Star Trek IV, finally! i love how the cover is of Kirk and Spock over the Golden Gate Bridge and there's a rainbow in the background ^_^

- i am caught up with Torchwood again. two days, quickest yet. i enjoyed it. too much Owen though (he looks too much like a frog) and i really didn't like that Gwen gave Rhys the amnesia pill. i don't hate her (yet), but she's not my favorite. i did however, love the Jack/Ianto parts. little moments, like Ianto in the front seat, with Jack in the hosptial eating grapes and making faces/noises, and whatnot *loves*

Awesome pressies and photos and omg i am trying desperately to avoid the Torchwood spoilers as i have 4 episodes to watch waiting for me. The friend i watch them with seems to have disappeared so i might be catching up all in one lump shortly, when i cave in and watch.

I miss my rats. What's yours called?

no Torchwood spoilers? alright, i won't use a certain icon. i understand not wanting to be spoiled ;)

i am so addicted to that show right now, it's not even funny. the addiction didn't even kick in until we were a few eps in.

my rat is named Merry. the one before him was Pippin. why yes, i do like LOTR, how did you know? and he's a runt, or something. he never got as big as other male rats. he's also the sweetest one we've ever had. and he loves pasta.

if there is one thing i love about the ST thing, it's the look between them (especially Kirk). it makes my slashy-heart happy XD

Oh, it's okay, you can use the snogging photo, i saw that weeks ago. Yay Jack/Ianto! I love big spoilers, i just don't want to read people's thoughts on individual episodes because smaller spoilers make the eps themselves less interesting to watch... if that makes sense. :/
I'm actually pretty disappointed with it at the moment, but meh. As long as there's a steady flow of gay relationships then i guess i'll stick with it.

So very true. Although unfortauntely Owen freaks me out and generally angers me, so he doesn't count, so my pretty people count is down to a perilously low number (especially seeing as i don't like Tosh much either, and although i love Gwen i hate that she seems to have become dumb all of a sudden).

Owen freaks me out too. for one thing, he looks like a fish/reptile thing, so no physical attraction there. i'm also not a big fan of his character. he seems to anger me most of the time as well, so no personality attraction either. so that's one down.

i haven't made up my mind about Gwen yet. personality-wise i think i like her boyfriend, Rhys, more than her, but i don't know yet.

i feel kind of bad for Tosh. she's usually in the background. i like her though.

and as mush as i love Jack (which i do, very much), i think my favorite character just might be Ianto. with everything he's done, and everything he can do, i think he is just as dark and messed up as Captain Jack. so of course they'd be perfect for each other ^_^

oh, and i don't why you'd need to know this, but Merry's favorite treat is corn. just in case that ever comes up ;)

Based on everything you say i reckon you're going to be pissed with a few things they do in the later eps. Not sure how far you've seen though.
I love Gwens boyfriend too, i think he's luverly! And to be honest, i think that he's far too lovely for the kind of plots the show seems to like, so i reckon it's not long before they chuck him, or do something awful to him. :(

And i totally agree about Ianto. The others are so totally pathetic at caring for him, nobody has yet asked him how he's doing, it's laughable. The whole ensemble is like some teenage disaster, i hate how crap they are at relations. ::sigh:: Ahwell, despite all that i am still going to settle down to watch 7 and 8 at some point shortly (i watched 9 all out of order, whoops).

Lol, see, highly useful piece of information! Should i ever need to ask Merry for anything, or should he ever do me a favour, the freshest most delivious corn shall be winging its way across the ocean in gratitude. :P
