why don't i have any SGA icons? or NCIS for that matter?
Friday. not a good day for homework. bad Spacemonkeyluvn!
so yesterday, on the day of the giving of the thanks, i ate a lot of food. good Italian food. ravioli and such. my family is closer to my mom's best friend, Annette, than our actual family. of course my brother and i grew up with her kids (same ages) so we're all basically family. it was nice to see them again. and it's great having a friend who owns a restaurant and is a chef cause we always get the best and lots of it XD after dinner, we went downtown to the Metreon and saw Happy Feet in IMAX. great movie to see on a BIG screen. i had no idea the movie would be so political. the whole religion thing and the penguins not accepting Mumble because he's 'different'. Elijah trying to sing <3 i loved how musical the movie was though. and it was gorgeous. i love how they gave Elijah's character bright blue eyes ;) i didn't like the whole seals-and-orcas-are-evil and such but i guess penguins are cute and fluffy. when they put Mumble in the zoo/aquarium and he started going crazy, i cried. i cried a few times actually. hehe i am so easy when it comes to crying. oh, and i didn't realize that one of the elephant seals was voiced by Steve Irwin :( and after the movie, we went back to Annette's house for pumpkin pie (ew!) and these delicious muffins that i can't remember what they were made of...
today my mom and i were going to see my grandma, but my mom wasn't/isn't feeling very well so instead we decided to get our Christmas tree. we went to this one place but the trees were crappy and way too expensive. so we went over to Lowes and got one my mom fell in love with and it was about $20-$30 less than one like it at the other place. it's in our living room now. i'm not very helpful when it comes to setting up trees because the needles make my skin itch and i get welts. not much fun. luckly my brother is 6'3" now and practically a giant. we make him do all the dirty work ;) after getting the tree, i got Starbucks and then Burger King for lunch. we came home and i've been watching the first season of 'Lantis. even though i have tons of homework. i've also read a few House/Wilson fics and watched a few vids (post WaM) and am slightly depressed now. oy vey *facepalm*
earlier, i smacked my arm into a doorknob and now it's sore. woe. but it's okay, because my icon is amusing me greatly. so what am i thankful for?
