wow. so it's been almost a month since i last updated. i hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and a good new year! i didn't have the best of either, but i'm feeling better now. best not to dwell, what =) plus, i got some good presents at least. i got the complete Jeeves & Wooster series on DVD which i have been watching practically every day for a month, a digital camera (i'll post pictures once i actually install the software onto my computer), Red Dwarf series 3 and 4 (and i'm getting 7 once it comes out- IN A WEEK), a coffee maker for my dorm, and some other assorted goodies.
i didn't do much during my vacation. i slept a lot (except when the storm kept me awake until 6 am and i had to sleep in a different room so i could get at least an hour or two of sleep) and watched a lot of TV. i got to hang out with my friends a little bit, but they all work. i did read 3 books- The Return of Jeeves, Bertie Wooster Sees it Through, and How Right You Are, Jeeves. anyone notice a pattern ;) i've also been making more J/W icons. i'll probably post them in the next update. i'll also make some more RD icons because a) i have more DVDs now, so i can take more caps and b) International Be a Hologram Day is coming up in 3 days! maybe i'll make some Rimmer icons special for the occasion. o Rimmer! how i've missed thee. i've been so obsessed with Jeeves & Bertie (mostly Jeeves) that i forgot just how much i loved the old smeghead. which reminds me- ch. 10 decided to start airing RD again on the weekends and i got to see Tikka to Ride. i liked it. i'm still not looking forward to Rimmer leaving, but i thought it was funny. of course i was in a good mood to begin with, i had just seen about 6 episodes of Posh Nosh in a row and so i was already laughing, but now i really can't wait until the 10th. January isn't all good though, my friend is leaving to go to school in LA later this month. granted i don't see her very often to begin with, but still, it'll be hard. once i get my camera set up, i'll post some pix of her.
i did well this last quarter- 3 classes and all A's :) hopefully i'll do well this quarter too- school starts on thursday. 'bout damn time. i don't know how i made it through high school. i can't stay at home for more than a couple of weeks now, especially when my mom is also on vacation and always there. i love her, but i can't be around her without being either frustrated or depressed. or both. not fun.
i'm hungry. also, i think i want to make a J/W mood theme. maybe later. i'm getting sleepy. i want starbucks so much right now. and since i'm getting random and something else i have no word for, i'll think i'll sign off. i'll go upload my icons and hopefully post them soon.
