jon stewart just mentioned House!! i can't say why exactly, but this pleases me greatly =)

he also just said "sucks ass" i want to have his children.


i didn't have a chance to say so before, but this Tuesday's 'House' was really good. well, i had a few problems with it, but the House/Wilson scenes were fantastic and that's the main reason i watch any way. Wilson's writing! <3 the money! the motorcycle! dinner!

also, in anthropology [human evolution] i'm learning a few things. apparently, our tastes begin developing while we are still in the womb. for years i've said that i don't like sea food because my mom ate too much while she was pregnant with me, but it's nice to know i may have actually been right :) it seems she also ate a lot of mexican food while pregnant with my brother and he loves spicy food. i'm also reading "A User's Guide to the Brain" by John Ratey, M.D. for a book review/relate it to class paper. the brain is such a crazy thing. even knowing how it works [or somewhat at least] it still seems almost magical. an interesting quote: 'There are more possible ways to connect the brain's neurons than there are atoms in the universe.'

and in myth & religion, we learned about Scientology. ummm.... wow. i'd talk about it, but apparently if i say something they don't like, i can get sued and/or completely ruined for life. i'll just say this, i found it quite surprising that god-like souls need 3-D glasses o_0

I hate the fact that the Daily Show comes on so bloody late. I'm trying to sleep at 11. They put it on again the next day, but I can never remember what time.

it does come on quite late. it used to come on at 7 or 7:30 the next day, but i'm not sure now. if i didn't stay up practically all night, i wouldn't watch it either. the thing that sucks is that because it's on every week night, there are too many episodes to put on DVD. although they do have some specials on DVD.
