spacemonkeyluvnComputer's back at Geek Squad. This time I'm having them wipe and reboot or whatever it's called. Reformat. I don't know. This is such a pain in the ass. I don't know what's going on because I'm pretty sure I got it from Mediafire last time and I was paranoid and hadn't used that site again yet. So I'm not sure if I got it again from somewhere else or if they never really got it completely. I just went to LJ, Youtube, Gmail, and I think Deviantart, but I hadn't downloaded anything. *le sigh*
I'm trying to be positive and whatever, but when it feels like your whole life is your computer, it's hard. I'm both surprised this hasn't really happened before and now paranoid of it never going away. GAH! I hate technology sometimes. Well, I hate how much I love and depend on it :/

holmesverse from my brother's computer. It won't be what I want exactly, but I'm still going to try and have something.
And it's been semi-stormy over here. Mostly wind. Which means our power will probably be going out soon.

Date: 2011-02-17 12:05 am (UTC)I know what you mean. I had my first laptop for years until it finally crashed. I hadn't been smart enough to really back up anything though and that was when the SG1 and SGA fandoms were still pretty active and now I've lost so much stuff that I can't get back/find again. I try not to think about it too much because it still depresses me LOL.

Date: 2011-02-17 06:49 am (UTC)Losing fandom stuff does suck. xP I lost all of my icons (except the ones already saved online) and keep meaning to recollect them. I'll probably wait until I get an external harddrive or something similar to hold them all. Might be a long wait, though. :/
