I am so not used to retail.

I was supposed to go in at 4pm, but they called and asked if I could come in earlier. I got there as early as I could, but because I have to bus it, I got there by 2:40pm (and left by 8:15pm). We weren't terribly busy (except for a bit around 5 for some reason) but we needed to clean up and get the store ready for Black Friday (*cue scary music*).

Everything hurts right now :( But it wasn't too bad. My first real day working in retail. Getting the hang of the registers, getting out of my normal comfort zone and actually talking to people, etc. I had fun though. The people (coworkers and customers) were all really nice though.

I'm so glad I don't have work tomorrow. We - my family - don't really do anything for Thanksgiving so I'm just going to stay in bed, work on my Christmas cards, and (re)watch Merlin, the first season of Heroes, and I have a craving for SG1 and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. Also, last night I watched the Doctor Who ep 'Midnight.'
