I made this one ages ago. It's just a cute picture I found of two squirrels with both their heads sticking out of the same hole. Jack/Daniel (from SG1) was and probably will always be my OTP of OTPs, so when I saw this picture, they're the first ones to come to mind. I figure the annoyed looking one on the bottom is probably Daniel translating something or basically just trying to get any work done, and the top one is Jack popping into Daniel's office, picking up artifacts from his desk, and generally bothering him/distracting him :D

I used to go to the University of California, Santa Cruz and I was an archaeology student. The mascot for UCSC is the banana slug. This design was created by the anthropology department at my school. There were also designs for forensic anthropology students and cultural anthropology students. They were selling shirts and such through cafepress, but I can't seem to find them now :/

This is Bob from The Dresden Files. His 'real' name is Hrothbert of Bainbridge, but Harry calls him Bob for short. The TV canon is slightly different from the book canon. This is the TV version of Bob - the spirit of a damned warlock who resides in a human skull owned by Harry. Bob is a pervert. We <3 Bob.

This is a picture of a picture from Heroes. It's Nathan and Peter, supposedly taken on Nathan's wedding day. The funny thing about that is that of all the pictures we've seen from Nathan's wedding, none of them have had his wife. But all of them (like 3 or 4, I think) have been of Nathan and Peter. Now, I know they're brothers, they're Italian, and they're close... but that seems slightly odd to me. I suppose a picture of Nathan and his wife would add nothing to the plot, but still. And this particular picture of the brothers seems rather unusual for a wedding photoshoot. Ya just gotta wonder what Peter is whispering into Nathan's ear.

This is Nowaki and Hiroki from the anime/manga Junjou Romantica (even though they're the Egoist couple). Now I love this icon so much. Which, while there are usually some icons of mine that I like, is pretty rare. First of all, I'm not really used to yaoi or BL, and so to have an actual couple in a show that I really love isn't the most common thing for me. I love this couple even more because, while there are other couples on this show, these two have been together for about 6 years and have a life together. They still have plenty of problems, angst, and worry, though so don't fear. But seeing them in bed, and not having sex, really tugs at the ol' heart strings.
But yes, the icon. Nowaki is telling Hiro that he loves him. But Hiro has trouble saying how he feels. He gets embarrassed, flustered, and then covers it by acting cranky and calling people idiots. However, in the safety of his own mind, he allows himself to be honest and open. He may not tell Nowaki often that he loves him, but he does. And he shows it in his own ways. Hiro is trying to let Nowaki inside, and luckily for Hiro, Nowaki can read Hiro like no one else.
