I'm the one who really loves you baby
Jul. 3rd, 2008 10:47 amI wouldn't mind being at work for so long if I felt I was actually doing something. I did last week when I was in Clinical, but since my boss in on vacation this week, I'm with QA. Right now I'm going over every SOP they have and marking any kind of record or documentation that should come from each SOP. Later, I'm actually going to have to find those docs, but in the mean time, I'm just trying to figure out what they should have. After a while, it gets kind of hard to concentrate. I have to fight to keep my eyes from glazing over.
I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm getting paid for this, I get tomorrow off, and new Doctor Who this weekend. I have to break it down and reward myself - this long until lunch; this long until we leave; when I get home I can do this; etc. I'm not accustomed to the working world, but I'll get there. At least it feels a little easier getting up in the morning. Well, not the getting up (that's never easy) but the staying up/being up.
The people here are really nice and fun though. The boss (President and COO of Gynesonics) just said "Oh, fucksticks!" ^_^
ETA: The day just got a little better. We got a new shipment of cookies and chips (free snacks here will probably be the death of me).
Also, this picture makes me happy (and just a fair warning, I'll probably have another L picspam - there are just so many scans! and it's my most current obsession...):

RING POP!
