but apparently it's official now.

The Dresden Files has been canceled.

Between this, my friend flaking out on me (again), me not having the 2-disc Hot Fuzz DVD (yet), and everything going on with my grandma, I am really looking forward to/needing Drake & Josh and Psych tonight. And the fact that Simon Pegg is on Late Night with Conan O'Brien tonight! Nothing like a little Simon Pegg to lift the spirits.

Reading Gene/Sam fanfic has also helped ease the pain ^_^

I can't say I'm surprised really. When it was first mentioned that it could be cancelled I sort of expected it. With everything that channel does for shows it has become ultimately predictable at two things. 1. Keeping crappy shows for too many seasons! And 2. cancelling perfectly good shows. Megh. Oh well.

On the plus side, I spent the evening listening to Simon Pegg commentary on my sister's DVD of Hot Fuzz. I can't wait to get a 2-disc collector edition-type DVD for it, since they talk about OTHER commentaries in the commentary on the disc and it makes me sad that they don't exist.

Plus, Simon Pegg's voice makes me all gooey and melty.

I was watching that the other night and I started laughing because just a few hours ago I showed my mom Hot Fuzz and I made her watch the Hot Funk extra. I kept rewinding the 'peas and rice' thing because we were laughing so hard XD

The Funk extras are great. I loved the Funky Pete one off Shaun of the Dead as well. He's right, you know what they were saying before and it's surely still going to offend the kind of people who would be offended by something as daft as some swearing. And the lightsaber story lol!

I've heard that too. I think you get more special features with the HD/DVD combo pack like this one (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?dest=9999999997&product_id=6372626&sourceid=0100000030660805202498). The thing is, the special features are on the same side as the HD so would a regular DVD player be able to read them? If it could, I would gladly pay the $33.98 for it ^_^

I agree about the censoring. I mean some words, maybe. But most people (if not everyone) know what the word is supposed to be. Either way, I'm going to be saying "peas and rice" from now on =D
