how was my weekend? well...
Friday
- my mom picked me up from school in the morning
- was still feeling down. Lexis was going to sleep over but that fell through.
- watched Doctor Who. CE will always be my doctor, but as soon as i heard DT's 'Lion King' and 'fightin' hand' lines, i knew i couldn't not like him ;)
Saturday
- Lexis took me out to breakfast where i had eggs, french toast, hash browns, and bacon. good lord, that was a lot of food
- then Lexis and i went to see The Covenant. (Harry Potter can kiss my ass!) pretty boys fighting each other. nice =D
- we went back to her place where, while waiting for our friends to show up, i showed her Josh kiss Drake on YouTube ;)
- once Tanya got there, Lexis' mom took all three of us to pick up Nata and we headed to some place i thought was where we were picking up my cake
- it turns out that my mom had planned something of a surprise birthday party for me. i got there (it was a Moroccan restaurant called El Mansour) and she and my brother were there with a bunch of balloons. a few minutes later, my dad, step-mom, and sister showed up (from San Jose). i really had no idea that they were coming =D it's such a cool place. there was belly dancing and the food was great. and after you wash your hands, they sprinkle rose-water on your hands. mmm... some stuff i got was House season 2, my iPod (i later bought and downloaded Drake & Josh- 'Josh Runs Into Oprah'), and my sister had gotten me the book version of Drake & Josh Go Hollywood (with poster) from her school book order <3
- we left the restaurant with the four of us in the back, along with all my giant-ass balloons. that was an interesting ride. plus, i'm the only one of my friends who is 21 and i'm the only one who didn't drink- despite the fact that everyone wanted me to ;)
Sunday (my actual birthday)
- i got my period :|
- my mom took me back to school
- i was feeling depressed again that day. i haven't felt that depressed since high school.
- it rained a bit on my birthday! i love the rain <3
- my mom called to say that she had lost her backpack with her wallet, medicine, glasses, everything (that really bothered me) but today some guy showed up and said he had found it, so even though she cancelled everything already, at least she got it all back
- the only really good thing about my birthday (besides all my friends calling me to wish me a happy bday) was the new D&J because 1) Josh wiggled his hips <3 and 2) Josh ate popcorn off of Drake's face- he didn't use his hands, just his mouth XD
i did no homework over the weekend and kind of screwed myself for later this week, but oh well. it was my birthday. fuck it ;P
today i went to class, went downtown to buy books for school, got a burrito (can't get enough of those), did my readings and notes, and i'm working on my Catastrophe homework. and tomorrow i'm sleeping over at Casey's apartment so we can do our homework together. it means i'm going to miss NCIS and Boston Legal this week though :/
