While it looks like a very entertaining movie, and one I will most definitely go see, it does not seem very 'Sherlock Holmes' to me :/

Yes, it does look like an interesting movie, but it doesn't seem much like Sherlock Holmes. In fact, it doesn't look anything like Sherlock Holmes. But I still want to see it.

I think that, five or ten years ago, I would've been offended by this presentation of Sherlock Holmes.

"It's wrong! Wrong! Wrong!"

But there's a vibrancy and fun in the trailer that I really want to see and I think that, if it is fun enough, I'd be totally cool with this presentation.

I think this is evidence I've gotten a lot more relaxed/less tightly wound as I've gotten older. Hee hee!

Oh yeah. Definitely want to see it. I'll just have to avoid comparing it with the Sherlock Holmes I 'know' ^_^

But I'll enjoy it for what it is. After all, if I could enjoy the new Star Trek (which was actually really good, just very different), then I think I can enjoy just about anything ^_^

And yes. While this movie looks to be entertaining and funny, it has little to nothing in common with Sherlock Holmes. Other than the names. I'm trying to not let this bug me as much as it could. Still gonna go see it though. Oh yes.

Yeah I think you are right it does seem kind of wrong to me too.Definetely not Sherlock that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about.Seems entertaining and and I love Robert Downey Jr so I think he will be amazing.I don't agree with Jude Law,always thought he is kind of cold.Hope it's just me and the movie is great....
