Noel/Julian 4EVAR!!!!!!!!!

I'm actually really glad to see Julian alive and well and still BFFs with Noel. Haven't heard anything about him in ages. I always get worried when duos/groups separate for too long. Makes me nervous.

Ok, so I'm feeling a little better now. Still anxious/nervous, but better. I have a tendency to overreact and get stuck inside my head. It's not a pretty place to be sometimes ;) But I went out with a friend, we got food, I bought 2 tops from Old Navy (which I feel guilty about now and I'm going to return at least one of them), and we talked for a bit. I've also watched Community and now I'll watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks and then some Merlin and just not think about things right now. I'll deal with things tomorrow and just one step at a time.

In other news:

* My son is gay. Or he’s not. I don’t care. He is still my son. And he is 5. And I am his mother. And if you have a problem with anything mentioned above, I don’t want to know you.

* Newest favorite Merlin vid (and ear candy). I'm not sure why, but I'm back into Merlin big time. I don't know if I'm just excited it's back or it's filling the space left by DW, or now Sherlock, but I'm loving it.

I feel like there's more, but I'm tired and my brain is all over the place at the best of times ;)

ETA: Noel and Jedward on NMTB was EXACTLY what I needed right now. They make 'Dappy look like Stephen Fry' LOL

Some (more) good things:

* I have the house to myself this weekend. The family is at the cabin.
* I woke up about an hour ago and had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. I also unfortunately burned my tongue on a hot chocolate chip, but small price.
* I'm going to spend all day watching movies and generally being lazy (except for when I have to do laundry because I have no clothes).

I really shouldn't watch these things in a quiet computer lab. I get a lot of stares o_0

I'm rather tired right now and I have a headache, but I'm staying on campus until at least 8:30 to go stargazing and get some extra credit for my 'Stars' class. (I'll do that another day. I need to sleep.) Speaking of which, I have a quiz in that class tomorrow and I'm not too worried about it, but it does involve some math and while it's high school math, it's been a while for me. I even went to the optional section today in order to get help, but the TA (while he might know his stuff) is a terrible teacher. I feel really bad for anybody who is taking this stuff for the first time. They won't learn a damn thing. From him. The actual teacher is cool. And English ^_^

I think my headphones were shocking me. I'm afraid to put them back on o_0

Yesterday in my Cult TV class, we watched the first episode of The Office (UK) and the teacher put the subtitles on. I keep forgetting that not everyone here watches British shows and can understand what is said. I just find it amusing that we needed closed captioning on a show that's in English. We might get to watch some Spaced tomorrow though!

Also, I was flipping through the channels last night and all of a sudden I see a mass of black and big hair. I pause. Go back a few channels. It's Russell Brand on Jay Leno! ( Which I just found online. )

Oh yeah, and today is danicoyaluvr's 22 birthday. ( Although she never uses this thing anymore... )

Some things:

1. Jeff Dunham was even funnier this time than he was in San Jose. And this time my mom came with me. She loved it, of course. She loves him ever since I made her watch my DVD and she never really gets to go out so I'm glad she had fun.

He had two people open up for him and one of them is Brian Haner who was hilarious and is also apparently the father of Synyster Gates, the lead guitarist of Avenged Sevenfold. (A group I just realized I knew after listening to 'Bat Country.')

Not surprisingly, Jeff made a lot of drug jokes about Santa Cruz and how he and his friends were scared by some of the people walking down Pacific. We do get some weird ones. He also said that he and his three male friends (two who opened for him and one manager or something) rented a motel room earlier to watch a football game and how that must have looked odd. Four guys renting a motel room for a couple hours and all they brought into the room were "beer and smiles."

After his show, he came back out and handed shirts to the people in the front row he talked to. He also says that it's come to his attention that some people are unhappy that he stopped using one of his puppets, Bubba J., in his shows. He said that the show we just saw was what we paid for and this next bit is free because he hasn't done this character in months and needs a cheat sheet of his jokes. So he brings out Bubba J. and starts talking. During this act, some of the people in the audience were helping him with his punch lines. Jeff said it was like a weird version of church with everyone saying what he was saying. By the end of the show, the whole audience was saying Bubba's lines with him (including one joke that was a couple of sentences - they kept up nicely). Jeff said it was a compliment that everyone knew his material, but it says something about him that we knew it better than him. He also said this was one of the weirdest shows he's ever done. Guess he'll remember Santa Cruz. I know I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time.

He said that he's going to be making a Christmas special for Comedy Central and that they'll be filming it in June. It sounded like he was coming back here to film it, but I don't know. I'll have to keep an eye out for tickets because I would love to be there for it.

2. I had an EKG this morning. I had been feeling weird, but thankfully everything looks normal - 'textbook' as my doctor said. I'm feeling what everyone experiences but are normally not aware of. My doctor gave me a referral to a therapist and they're going to call to set up an appointment. I've always had anxiety and whatnot, but it seems to be getting worse. My mom is thinking it might have something to do with this being my last year in college. Good times.

3. It's almost Wednesday!!! Although I suppose I won't be able to watch Torchwood until at least Thursday or Friday. Luckily I'm going home this weekend for my friend's birthday. I should be able to watch it then.

That's really all I have to say about the end of 'o7. Stuff happened that I can't really remember. I'm not feeling too great right now and that's distracting me from what fun I might otherwise be having right now. Tomorrow I'm seeing Sweeney Todd again with friends and Friday I'm going to a party at my friend's house. Sunday I go back to Santa Cruz and classes start on the 8th. As soon as the Health Center reopens, I think I'm going to make an appointment. Blegh.

Until then, I think I'll watch some Mighty Boosh or Heroes. Goodnight.

Not from BFQotY, but amusing, nonetheless.

I didn't think it was possible, but after having just watched Never Mind the Buzzcocks, my love for Noel Fielding has just doubled tripled.

( I'm not sure how these could be spoilers, but just in case... )

I realize too late that there is no point to this entry ;) I realize even later that the real point was the Fielding. And I apologize for that. He is reason enough for an entry. Please accept my forgiveness ;)
