Secret Santa meme // Me!

It looks like The Mighty Boosh is going on tour again next year and one of the dates is on my birthday. I don't know how, but I'm going to be there. Maybe not on that day (although what better way to celebrate), but I am going to at least one of their shows. (Tickets on sale.)

Thanks to finals and other stresses, I'm slow in getting cards out this year. Let me apologize in advance if you don't get it before Christmas. They also probably won't have anything fannish in them because I'm lame. I'll try, but no promises :( Since I still haven't sent them out though, if you still want one, my Christmas Card post.

I have a take-home final due tomorrow that I should really get started on. And I will. Just as soon as I post this entry.

My friend is having a pre-Christmas party this weekend. I can't wait. It'll be nice after the stress of finals. I'm sleeping over and bringing my Mighty Boosh DVDs. I'm slowly converting everyone I know into Boosh fans.

Also, Never Mind the Buzzcocks was much better this week! Especially Noel's team and their answering the question through dance and team hugs. Not like this is news to anybody, but I <3 Noel. Probably more than is healthy. Which is one of the reason I enjoy this video so much:

It varies over here too. Luckily many of my friends have the same kind of weird sense of humor that I do ;)

However, most people just look at me strangely, perhaps they humor me, and then move on. Oh well, you can't win them all.

I agree with you, apart from my twin sister, I can't really share my fandoms IRL, doctor who, hot fuzz, even heroes...not a lot of my people I know like it and even less are obsessed like me...a live show must be great.
But well, that's why I love the internet! So many people who like the same thing!

I agree that Buzzcocks was much better this week, Noel's team seemed to have a real chemistry which made the whole thing much funnier than last week. I loved the curly hair exchange between Simon and Richard, and Simon vs. Noel ("Is that how it works, you just say random words?" "With scissors made of glitter" *g*)

There was a debate going on on some TV thing on teletext over the weekend where quite a lot of people were saying that they didn't like Simon's presenting of NMTB. I never got into his predecessor's style and I think I get why. Lamarr was always nasty, and openly so, but Simon has a way of being bitchy but then he'll make a wee face that just makes you forgive him lol. It's still as catty but just done in a different way.

I never even saw it with the other person, so I can't comment on that. But I do agree with you about how Simon does it. You need some controversy or else the show would be boring and not nearly as funny ^_^

It does suck that it starts so late. I'm going to try to make my friend go with me because everyone is going to be in school or working. If there was one during the summer, that would be great. I'm going to go, though. Somehow.
